I loved it!!!!!!! Excellent Critical Thinking, in order to get to the main issue, we must learn our basics meaning our labs Values, Fundamentals and Med Surg knowledge…. It’s like putting a puzzle altogether…. I loved it!!!!!!!The way you break it down, walked us through the whole scenario…… when you started I was thinking internal Bleeding but as you continue with the presentation the first time came into mind was septic status
Heck yeah my friend! All about getting those wheels turning and getting us thinking! :D
This was a great exercise! Loved the critical thinking prompts
ya heart's workin hard baby 😂❤this is gold, especially the case study notes! you rock
I’m a nursing student with ICU being my goal, so I loved this type of video!
I'll have to make more!
Omg! I remember watching you when I was just hoping to get into nursing school while taking prerequisites. Now I’m a nurse on an ICU step down! 🙏🏼
Please do more of these!! I loved this and would watch them all!
Definitely would love to!
I’m one year into nursing working on a telemetry unit. I really enjoyed this type of video.
Happy to hear it! I'll likely make a few more in this format!
OMG I missed you, it's good to see your face and a new video. You were my motivation in nursing school 4 years ago ❤
So cool to see you still around here after all this time. I hope you have been doing well in your career!
Welcome back!!!!
Thank you!
You were a saving grace when I was taking A&P and in nursing school with your tips and educational videos. Now as a cardiac step-down nurse, I loved this video!! Keep it up Bass!!
Look at how far you've come! Congrats on the come-up! I'm glad I could be some part of the journey.
Please do more hemodynamic videos! 🙏
Will do!
Can we have more please?!
Yeah I really need to make some more! That'll be on the to-do list! :D
Sepsis the moment I saw that BP and HR and Temp, I said blood cultures STAT oh and the lactic acid
Haha, but hey, if that Cardiac Index had been like 1.6 and that SVR had been like 2,200, then that BP/HR/Lactic Acid might start painting a different picture than sepsis. But yeah, in reality we’d be sending off the blood cultures either way lol
@@NurseBass I remember watching ur videos during nursing school, now here I’m working at a step down doing critical care! So stressful at times 🤣
where the hell you been
I've been getting after it :p Where the hell you been Roy
Hell yeah I knew it was Sepsis. Knew it by just the VS. and I’m just a lil bitch ass LPN 😂😂
(The white count and lactic confirmed it tho, (mostly) )
Haha, that's hilarious. Right on my friend!
