- This is a pretty common issue on older Es300/330s. Window will operate slowly and eventually stop working. Usually due to a bad motor.
Borrowed my inlaw’s car while visiting them on vacation and decided to make a quick video on fixing the window regulator.
(According to what I have read this affects 2003, 2004, 2005 Lexus ES 300 and 330)
Thanks, now I'm confident to fix this issue on my Lexus 2005 es330 after watching this very resourceful video. Thank you again!
Well done! I followed your video as I replaced the window motor on a 2004 ES330. You made what looked pretty complicated much simpler. I now have a working power window. Thank you!
Very nice, thanks for the demo! Liked and subscribed.
Very nice video I wanted to see how u hook the window back on. But I’ll figure it out
I wonder how did you reprogrammed the window to work on automatic (one press) or manual and avoid going back down after reaching the top on the door. Any advice?
Thank you for the video. I followed it and managed to install a different motor.
Usually you manually power the window all the way to the open position then hold the window switch “down” for 5 seconds. Then do the opposite, manually raise the window to the closed position and hold the switch int the “up” position for 5 seconds. The auto up/down should then work.
I have this issue with my rear right window not staying up when using auto up. I've tried different options and possibilities but still no luck.
What am i doing wrong?
@meplyee
How do you do this if the window is stuck up and not down? Confused on how to get access to the bolts holding the window into the car.
I see your question was asked a month ago, so I'm sure you have solved the problem, but when you remove the 6 bolts around the window motor, the entire unit and window will slide down.
Thanks for the video, but about the Nissan project, we are waiting for the other videos, thank you
Thanks. I think I had a ground fault that was causing my random stalling issue when coming to a full stop. I’ve since started rewiring the whole truck and I’m taking a break for Christmas…..
same car same problem. thanks. I wonder how long these chinese aftermarket motors will last.
i'm planning to repair the motor rather than replace. Seems like a simple mechanism
