Lisa Hunt announced In May 2023 The Fairy Tale Tarot is being republished by US Games. I asked the great folks at US Games Systems Inc. if they were interested in republishing the deck, and my proposal was met with resounding enthusiasm and support. I signed a contract and am now in the process of preparing materials for USG's creative team. A huge "thank you" to everyone who has been so enthusiastic and supportive of the deck over the years. I'm thrilled that it will available again! I'll keep everyone updated as things move through the production process. ~ Lisa

@@kssgpv I think it's great that they are bringing back these amazing decks that are on so many peoples unicorn decks list. Another one that being brought back as mass market is The Bonestone and Earthflesh face-red-heart-shape
My deck came today, 3/1/24, and as I looked through it, I compared it to Vaughan Williams's Pastoral Symphony 3rd I listened to last night, the version I watched someone had added wonderful pastoral paintings to accompany the music. Of course, Williams spoke little of his experience of WW1 except through his music; as the theme and mood of music changed so did the landscape paintings. The tarot pictures changed as you would expect with the suit and number. Thanks again Simon.
I love this deck -- it's very Americana -- very northeastern U.S. where there are lots of rural areas: farms, woods, and mountains. The things that look like mandalas on the barn on the Three of Pentacles are Dutch hex signs. The Pennsylvania Dutch created hex signs to ward off bad luck and bring good fortune. The art is stunning and you're right, the deck has a very gentle energy. Thank you for the flip-through, Simon.
The Fool card “it makes me feel all funny” 🤣. This deck is so beautiful and really spoke to me, it’s totally my thing I really lovely it. I am definitely going to get it. One of my favourite cards was Justice “Take what you need, give what you can” just beautiful. Thank you for a lovely walkthrough my friend 😍❤️

Lisa Hunt is a wonderful artist. Personally I'm not fond of landscape cards in divination, so this deck is not for me. But it is very beautiful! As all of Lisa's art that I've seen is. The animals divine for example are so lively ... I wish that was back in print.
The Devil card for me is quite thought provoking. I first thought about it being a wolf too. But the dog doesn't attack or hunt any of the sheep. It's just standing there watching. So maybe it is actually the sheperds dog there to protect and watch over the sheep. Which gives it a totally new spin.
Thank you for a beautiful walkthrough of a beautiful deck. The artistry of the Milky Way in the Star card is incredible. 7 Cups - amazing things in the clouds. Really impressed by the quality and the bag - that it has the design on both sides!

I recommend putting antibiotic ointment on your cut and cover with a bandaid. I know they’re annoying to wear but it will protect your finger (It helped me when I recently cut myself and had to have stitches so please accept my sympathy!)
Now that I’m home from work (early!), I am able to finish watching this. I have this deck and now I’m inspired to get it out again. Thank you for your walkthrough Simon, it’s always interesting to see what other people notice about different cards 🙂

Forgot to mention, one thing I noticed, and I was very glad to see, is that the US games trademark is not on the front of the cards in this deck!

This is such a different deck that gives a very grounded and lateral interpretation and vibe. It might look 'simple', but is actually quite inspiring.
