How do you navigate your way around this place, I have visited this park a couple times and still seem to get lost. Is that some sort of gps that you have on your bike and if so were can I get it.
@pika1519 I created a ride plan using the Trailforks App's Plan Route tool and uploaded it to my Garmin Edge 540 (that GPS device seen on the left side of my handlebars) It gives me turn by turn direction like how you'd get on Google Maps or Waze App. You can pick one of those up at REI, Best Buy or Online
@@PeterMikuljanthanks man, really helpful video. I don’t know how you do some of those drops and climbs especially the drop by raging waters. I recently got into mountain biking but every time I do a trail I either loose traction and go out of control or run out of gas and can’t climb a hill.
@@pika1519 Here in Southern California, our trails are almost always dry, loose and rocky, so I've found that learning to ride with these conditions puts beginners into the fire to start. I'm quickly learning to be good at choosing lines, maintaining speed and overall trusting the bike. I'm still finding myself death-gripping on some of these runs so I have still have a lot of room for improvement. I think the best thing to do is repetition. Do multiple runs with a trail to get comfortable and just keep riding more often in general and gradually increase the difficulty.
Hey sir, back again. Just hit that same trail and was dying on that humongous climb by the freeway. Were you able to complete that all on your bike or did you have to get off?

Here's the route I took: www.trailforks.com/ridelog/view/72377528/

@pika1519 oh no, we definitely hiked a bike at that point. Especially with this heat and sun blasting us on that west facing hill...not easy
@pika1519 there might be a way to get rid of that climb, but it might involve getting on paved road for a bit.
