The Strength test not only test the blade gut the judges hand and arm. I am not surprised that he gets hurt some times off them, and the blade having a defect like this one with hits handle does not help it. Pretty sure and one doing this test with these blades would be feeling it after.

During the tests, i just noticed that 1. Doug is good on dagger type weapon and smaller blades. His aim with longer and larger blades sucks. 2. David Baker is good with blunt and bludgeoning weapons. He is also skillful with long swords. 3. J Nielson is good in pounding things and durability test. 4. Ben Abbott (as observed) is good with bows and other long range weapons. Second to J Nielson when it comes to pounding things. I hope that they focus with the specialties of each judges when it comes to testing as a wrong move can lead a weapon to disaster.
You know, if I ever get the chance to be on Forged in fire and I get eliminated, I'm going to act all dejected and say I'm gonna give up knife making and sell all my equipment, lol. Just to be different.
_TBH this episode made no sense, a handle vs something not cutting, at least he made both sides sharp having a bad handle is better than having a unsharpened knife_
