That's a fantastic collection! With my personal taste, I would hold onto three standout pieces: the Christopher Ward for its refined elegance, the Tudor Black Bay for its timeless charm and heritage and the M5610 best ever.
its been a while since I have done weird things with the watches so I could have the time, but not wear them on my wrist. I caddied when I was younger and so I wouldn't end up with a watch tan I would put my timex ironman on one of my belt loops to always have the time close at hand, but not fall out of my pocket. So there's that I guess. Thanks for the vid!
Your comment about weird ways we use watches other than on the wrist...I have an F-91W that I leave at the office mostly just to have the hourly chime each hour. Originally I thought I'd leave it there in case the watch on my wrist had any issues--so as a backup--but now I just really like to hear the hourly chime to keep track of time while working.
Cool vid man, definitely gonna subscribe. But from a man with a small wrist to another, go down to 36mm 😅 I got my first one (day-date) and i had to redo my whole collection because I realized that 36mm was my sweet spot 🫡
@@richardmorris7063 perhaps I just like the aesthetics of the large date in general - like with Rolex, Glashutte or Lange. You were referring to the Tudor Panda?
Fantastic video. Kind of freaky actually how close my collection is with yours. Only 29, only seriously got into collecting a year and a half ago. Before that I only had my g-shock and my invicta pro-diver. Still have both and wear both. Now have a Christopher Ward, Oris, f91w and two Seiko's. The 300M is my next purchase for my 30th bday.
Love it! Really dig that you simply get what you like. I'm not a super sentimental collector. If I'm not feeling it I sell it. I recently got a Squale 20 ATMOS that I'm absolutely enamored with. Great video!
I think this is a very reasonable and well thought out collection. I would say you are on track to have a stunning collection of 5-7 centerpiece watches by the time you’re 40…and that’s probably the actual goal here in collecting watches. 5-7 absolute bangers…between the Seamaster and that Tudor Black Bay Pro; you’re golden and doing well. Try on that Explorer 2 before you think about pulling the trigger. I’ve got a 6.75 inch wrist, and the Explorer II be big. Consider a 36mm Explorer instead…my two cents.
Been watching your vids for a while now. Love your content! I just got a Vertex M36 and based on what I know about your taste in watches I feel like you’d like it as well. I’d recommend looking into it!
Great collection video! The Lunar Pilot is a watch that I've thought about on a bunch of occasions, but it's one that I've never bought. I've got the arms for the watch, but it just doesn't call to me. I know it sounds weird, but I wish I liked it more, as then I'd have a reason to buy it. I don't know if anyone locally has that newer reference of the Explorer 2, but we have a wide range of watches that people bring to our local WatchCrunch meetups. It really allows a lot of folks to handle watches that they'd only otherwise see online.
FYI the g shock multiband doesn’t connect to satellites it receives high power/ low frequency radio waves from big towers around the world. The us one is in Colorado I believe. Cool stuff
I LIKE BIG WATCHES I THINK THEY COOL I SEE YOU HAVE THE CASIO ROYAL THAT WATCH IS AWESOME I HAVE THE SAME IN MY COLLECTION I LIKE YOUR COLLECTION GREAT VIDEO
Diverse collection, it's dope to see someone with both fun & luxury in their watch box. I'm not much of a GMT guy, but that BB Pro is absolute fire - true definition of a GADA!
Great Collection! I too like the polar explorer too but compared to the Submariner and GMT I thought it seemed a little big even on my 7" wrist, still a great option though
Since you're drawn to the style and keep going back to the Bulova Lunar Pilot - but apparently it's too big for your wrist - why not just keep it and repurpose it as your new shower-mounted watch? It would be a pretty classy upgrade from the F91W.
Hi Kdun! Iam Stian, from Norway, loved the video man! got a small collection myself, and i just love watch storys from "normal" people. My watch of the year is my Longines Hydroconquest 39mm blue automatic, at work i normaly use g-shocks that ive buy cheap sekundhands and give them to friends and stuff, i have inherited alot a watches from my grandparents seiko ,certina, glycine ++ that i try to fix and wear. My first watch was a GANT watch that i broke, tried to fixed it for many years, but i found one used. but i never wear it, but its fun to keep. New sub :) Cheers buddy!
Idc if u have 100 watches, there will always be a few u don't have. I have 17, my best is Omega snoopy & Tudor Panda. But my go to everyday watches are Seiko & Citizen..I like the eco series.
Heya bro. Thinking of getting a CW twelve myself. Do you find the black text ‘automatic’ annoys you? I wish they made it white so it’s not so visible. Enjoyed the collection. Cheers
Love your watch collection dude! Since we have the same wrist size, that black bay pro looks sexy. How do you compare it agains the C63 GMT and does the watch feels heavy? Since it has a bigger diameter, I can only guess the lug to lug fixes most of the sizing issue making it doable for our wrist size? Does the case fit low and connects to the wrist well? Sorry for all these questions mate! I'll pas this year, might make my collection video next year :D
Vs the c63 it’s bigger and way heavier for sure but it’s definitely wearable. I wear it most days. I’m wearing it right now! It fits as a “big” watch but it fits great nonetheless
Nice collection. Always enjoy your content and following your watch journey as they say. I'm a bit curious as to why you'd want the current Explorer 2 over the previous generation EU3Z7W. The previous gen is probably a better fit size wise and is arguably more tooly than the current model as it doesn't have the polished sides.
Love the CW Twelve, considering it myself but in Nordic blue 36mm or 40mm. I really think I’ll end up with the black CW Sealander GMT since it’ll be many years until I can afford a Rolex 16570 lol
Invicta is for the bin and please don’t abuse the mighty F91W like that. It’s ‘the’ watch and should get some wrist time even if it’s just for practical times. Like the foray into Omega too… vintage and the seamaster 300. Get the explorer 1 rather than the 2. It’s more versatile in my opinion and looks great in most situations. Good collection and respect that it has some weird and wonderful stuff in there but it tells a story of your journey.
Do you ever feel like the Omega Seamaster is too big for your wrist? I’m saving up for my first luxury dive watch and I also have small wrists but I love the design of that watch
My dude, 1 year is too long to look forward to and wait for your SOTC, next time a mid-year SOTC update would be appreciated. That being said, it was worth it every penny. Congrats and cheers. Enjoy in good health
Hey Kdun great video! It’s my first time seeing you and your collection. I’m curious about your age. I’m guessing mid 20’s? For a young guy you have your watch game humming! Great little collection! I’m an old watch guy now but remember my own journey with watches and it’s cool to look back on the early days and discovering new pieces. It’s a great little hobby and I’m glad to see more younger people getting into watches 👍 my first “real watch” was also an Omega Seamaster back in I think 96. It was a blue dial blue bezel. I still have it and it still runs! Had it serviced twice in nearly 30 years so I can’t complain. Anyway you’re on the right track buy what you like and don’t worry what others think. Good luck and keep learning. Your tastes will change over time but it’s fun to look back someday and think”wow I used to wear THIS?” It shows you how much you’ve changed and the watches become a marker for the different periods in your life. Young man enjoy this hobby to the fullest and when you’re my age 57 you’ll be so glad you did.
The Orient is way too big for your wrist my friend. That Omega is what we call “a frankenwatch”. The Casio royale is a cool watch. Moonswatch is garbage…no offense. Lunar Pilot way too big. Christopher Ward 36mm is perfect size for you. Tudor Black Bay Pro is PERFECT, with this watch you don’t need to waste your money on an Explorer II. GOOD VIDEO! is garbage…no offense.
That's a fantastic collection! With my personal taste, I would hold onto three standout pieces: the Christopher Ward for its refined elegance, the Tudor Black Bay for its timeless charm and heritage and the M5610 best ever.
Awesome collection, I love the connection you have with your watches.
Dog what about wanting an explorer 36? It's fits infinitely better than the explorer 2, and it is more universal its abilities.
its been a while since I have done weird things with the watches so I could have the time, but not wear them on my wrist. I caddied when I was younger and so I wouldn't end up with a watch tan I would put my timex ironman on one of my belt loops to always have the time close at hand, but not fall out of my pocket. So there's that I guess. Thanks for the vid!
That’s funny, when I was 16 I used to do that also and loop the watch on my belt loop at my work
Your comment about weird ways we use watches other than on the wrist...I have an F-91W that I leave at the office mostly just to have the hourly chime each hour.

Nice collection. I wish Tudor would make their date windows larger, and/or use the cyclops.
Made me look down at my Panda, looks pretty easy to read the date for me,do u just like the look of cyclops?
@@richardmorris7063 perhaps I just like the aesthetics of the large date in general - like with Rolex, Glashutte or Lange. You were referring to the Tudor Panda?
Love the collection, especially the Casios 🙌

You will love the polar dial (:
Been rocking mine for a month and every day i fall in love more
Some fun lighthearted watches. Love the collection and appreciate the "normalness" of everyday watches
U have small wrists & love large watches,me too. I have a Citizen Blue Angel that is 46mm & 175 g. On the right strap anything is possible!
I think this is a very reasonable and well thought out collection. Hey aren't you the guy that has a p320 build couple years back? Awesome collection, loving that Tudor black bay pro
👀 maybe haha
Nice collection mate keep going!🎉

I hang my gshock on my shoulder bag as an accessory because I just didn't like it on my wrist as much as I wanted to. Fire collection brother

Casio and invicta is the best watch for starter dude. You have a great taste
Great Collection! I too like the polar explorer too but compared to the Submariner and GMT I thought it seemed a little big even on my 7" wrist, still a great option though
Enjoyed the collection and the video! Also a fellow Black Bay Pro fan (tho not an owner, yet)
Sold my BB Pro to get a SMP300 White dial, now i want the BB pro back and have both in my collection.
Finally subscribed 😂
You’re doing a fantastic job, man!
I have a g shock gsteel solar, and a 1979 Rolex datejust 16014. My 2 watch collection, one for work and one for home.
Thats a proper rookie collection 👍

I have same history for buying watches like your. I also purchased 1st watch a gshock in 2018 and my 2nd watch was invicta pro diver. 😅

Tissot was my first "expensive" watch purchase and it's absolutely one of my favorites even after buying a dozen more.

How much did Omega Seamaster cost? Nice collection!
How about a 5 digit explorer, it's absolutely tremendous. Ref 16570
As an owner of the polar dial 16570, I agree!
I concur, I have a black dial 16570, easily a one and done!
Love from india ❤
Great video, I knew the black bay pro would overtake the Seamaster one day, no shame there
Nice video and collection. I thought you were going to say the Explorer 36, so curious to see how your tastes/choices evolve.
I do still very much want the explorer 👀

I want the size of the 16570 but the movement of the 226570. So because that doesn’t exist, I’d take a better movement over a better wearing watch.
@@kdun8428fair enough. 👍🏼

Nice watches
Do you ever feel like the Omega Seamaster is too big for your wrist? I’m saving up for my first luxury dive watch and I also have small wrists but I love the design of that watch
I don’t. It is big but not TOO big. Dive watches should be big in my opinion
Hey how do you clean your bright colours gshocks ?
I don’t 😜
@kdun8428 haha
Who knew Jessie Pinkman was a watch guy.
Have you considered the earlier reference of the Rolex explorer II? 16570 I think. I think it’s far cooler than the new reference. And it’s only 40mm!
Nice macro shots 😉

Multi Band 6 doesn't use satellites, it's radio.
the moment you gave us the reason why you bought an invicata you lost me there lol
great video, do you happen to be related to admin?
Get an older generation of Rolex Explorer 2. Its 40mm
why are your watches so chunky and big?
People showering with watches, yes indeed weirdos, but it’s all good tho 😂

most of your watches are too big for your wrist - looking from your vids
The Orient is way too big for your wrist my friend. That Omega is what we call “a frankenwatch”.
The Casio royale is a cool watch. Moonswatch is garbage…no offense. Lunar Pilot way too big. Christopher Ward 36mm is perfect size for you. Tudor Black Bay Pro is PERFECT, with this watch you don’t need to waste your money on an Explorer II. GOOD VIDEO!
