The camera recorded only local on SD card, I have an analogue VTX but the quality is not good enough to put in a video for YT. Meanwhile I have a Runcam Orage, my idea is to use the gimbal and the SD card for HD video while getting a composite out from the same cam via the VTX to my groundstation. That way I should have HD video for YT and same tome a real time feed at low quality.

Are you using the stock Holybro 2216 kv880 motors? What battery are you using and what flight time are you getting? The holybro website seems to use a screenshot from T-Motors testing results.

Hi Joe Mcgee, My X500 has the stock motors that came with the kit. I think they are 2216 880kv if I remember right. I have never pushed the flight time where I would consider it to be "at the limit". I have a couple of TBS 4S batteries with 7Ah or there about and also some smaller 4Ah 4S batteries of some unknown brand. 15 min flight was never an issue with the 7Ah but keep in mind I am not a race pilot and don't usually push it around very hard. I am not at home just now but I will double check this evening re battery capacities. Before I forget, the motors are such that the Holybro props screw on without any additional hardware. The original props would not fit a "normal" motor.

Nice video. Did you add a receiver and use a radio to control it? Or did you use the telemetry radio and use something like QGroundControl to control it?

Hi, I have a Jumper T16 remote control and a Jumper R8 receiver on the quadcopter as my primary control. I can and have done pre planned flights using Mission Planner. In that case I start and stop the pre planned mission with one of the knobs on the Jumper T16. I have not used Mission Planner to directly control the quadcopter.

Sorry for the very late reply, I have a Jumper T16 and meanwhile also a Radiomaster TX16S. I use Jumper R8II receivers. I will also look into ELRS for better range but I have no experience yet.
