Not any questions but I love how you used extended cuts of film where are you awkwardly stay on any given subject for example after the gun shop guy was standing there and staring and it was like that for a good 10 seconds as if we were analyzing his analyzing the guy to see if he is okay
This movie brings up a brilliant point that even if you were to appear to a bad guy to someone and you think that you are right and you are good that leads you to believe the fact that they would be the bad guys in your story but in reality we all are trying to see an end to our means not really so much evil as it is being misguided or rather they don't know how to be empathetic with people they don't understand we need open discussion

Hey friends! I'm Daniel, the composer on this film. I've worked with Bryian a whole lot. We met in college and he's one of my best friends, so these days I'm kind of obligated to work on his films. 😄 All that considered...
I'm ALWAYS afraid of reading one of his new scripts because I just know it's gonna be divisive or offensive for a portion of the population. Even then, GGWAG is not a film I can immediately share with my future kids. I mean I just wanna work on a straight-forward sci-fi drama, Bryian. Can't we do that at some point??
As with many of his films, I had a huge amount of doubt with this story's early drafts. His projects cover sensitive topics like police violence, gun laws, mental illness, etc.... So the goal is always to make sure we highlight the right aspects of certain issues. And bias is ALWAYS going to be a factor-especially early on-so it's important for us to continuously check ourselves through the whole process. And even then, we're totally imperfect.
When reading over his early drafts, I personally try to figure out what's too alienating to folks on both sides of an issue. Sometimes I (or maybe friends of mine who are on the opposite side of an issue) don't agree with the ideas he's written, so those moments can be nice checkpoints for balancing each of our biases a little. Ultimately, if we exaggerate things on both sides of an issue, then perhaps there might be some mutual understanding.
The role of music for this project was to make sure offensive visuals became "artsy" or "fantastic" by taking things way over the top. As an example, the music at 3:56 represents his twisted view of romance. He takes advantage of a drunk person and truly believes it was a mutually romantic situation. We wanted all the music in this to stick to his POV so that we could feel what he personally felt. We wanted to show how or why our main character might feel the way he does, even if he does do things we'd consider wrong.
Thanks to ALTER for having us, and a big ol' thanks to you for taking the time to watch our film!!

But in the short, the reality is he went to the store to seek revenge. He wasn’t a casual bystander with a gun, but a man on a mission. He didn’t stop the robbery because it was the right thing.
The point of my original comment wasn’t political because both sides use guns. It’s the idea that not all “good guy with a gun” scenarios are that cut and dry. They aren’t all good and when we praise or even glorify those people, it encourages others to take up that mentality in toxic ways. Ex: The guy got his ideas to be a vigilante from a vigilante cop show on tv. In that show, the main character takes justice into his own hands, gets the glory, and gets the girl.

"Most states won't allow a rapid fire adjustment." Actually, that's the federal Government and the Weapons ban from the 80's. It is not legal in any state unless you own a Class III Federal Firearms license.
"Got a moonshine buddy that can do some 3d printing." Well. I don't know why he has to get a guy all the way in Arkansas to 3d print an auto-sear. Hell, you can make an auto-sear with the hook of a clothes hanger. I mean, don't do that. It's a felony. It shouldn't be a felony because of the 2A, but it is. So don't make an auto-sear.
So, the lower receiver. This is the only part that the ATF considers a "gun." If it's ordered online, it MUST ship to a Class 3 federal firearms license holder. It cannot ship to your home. That is a felony in all 50 states. No retailer would risk it, no Class III FFL holder would risk it either. The license is expensive and they make more money doing legal business.
"Why shouldn't I register it?" The guy makes a good point about the DACA list. But a more succinct argument is "Fuck you, it isn't anyone business what the fuck I own. Especially the government."
As for the mass shootings, somewhat correct. The actual number is "close to zero." As the requirements for a "mass shooting" changed so the number could be larger, they started including things like "a gunshot in the vicinity of 3 or more people." Nobody has to even get shot. And most mass shootings are gang related with handguns. Further, something like 70 percent of gun deaths are suicide. We have a suicide problem, not a gun problem.
The gun shop guy is a pretty good actor, I liked him. But he's not going to talk about some highly illegal "15 years in federal prison" kind of shit to a random kid that walks into his store. No gun shop owner would, really. They make too much money through legal business. Hell, look at the buying frenzy right now. 9mm ammo used to be 17 cents a round. It's over 75 cents a round now. I should have invested in 9mm ammo instead of gold!
If you need some consulting on a future project involving guns, message me. I could have made that scene a lot more realistic. But I thought it was well written as kind of a parody. The gun shop owner made me laugh, I like that guy.

True a bump stock doesn't increase firing rate to that of a true automatic - but it does increase it far beyond what one can manage with an unmodified semiautomatic. And since it can empty a magazine without moving your trigger finger after the first pull, the distinction is just one of degree. In other words, an AR-15 with a bump stock makes a crappy automatic, but still an "automatic", in practice.

Yeah right, that "queen" got so drunk that she slept with a guy she wouldn't have slept with when sober, and then told her brother that they guy raped her, so she wouldn't have to deal with the regret caused by her own promiscuity. You could see it in her face that she felt bad for the guy while her brother was beating him up, but not bad enough to actually tell the truth, because that would mean she'd have to admit to her own guilt, and add a new one on top of that, and why would she?
