      Copied from an interview:
"Traust is probably HEILUNG‘s most positive song so far. Dominated by female voices it starts out with, what is called Leysigaldr in old Icelandic, a blessing to release a tied warrior. HEILUNG performs that blessing actively on stage during the song. It continues with nine blessings, taken from the old Icelandic poem Grogaldr. Here, luck in battle, good words in speeches and yet another blessing of release are summoned. The choir sings a younger Icelandic protection spell."

      @@XzRecolz,
This is all good to know. I watch this performance to give it a chance and took away the opinion that it must be unauthentic, so it was uninteresting. Also, due to the thought that it was inauthentic, that the garb and decoration is also undeserved.
The fact that it contains icelantic poetry a thousand years or more ago makes it very interesting though. Iceland is a really unique place in which much has been preserved. Most oher cultures haven't bothered with this typically.

@@lloydy68 Not sure who is singing the opening lines, but I've noticed they've been adding more singing roles to the backup singers and warriors over time. I saw a recording of a concert of theirs from a while back (Not the Lifa one) and Maria was beginning to sound hoarse by the end of it. Kai seemed like he was having a harder time by the end of it too. I can only imagine how singing in this style, show after show, can be hard on the vocal cords. It makes sense to me that they're incorporating other singers. Got to protect those voices!
