I have been knitting for over 40 years and I have never knitted socks but I watching your podcasts on socks and I am looking so forward to trying it. A Kni Picks gift certificate would be an awesome gift. Thank you for your videos, I so look forward to them.

Oh, wow! With $50 to spend on Knit Picks, I would get enough yarn to finally be brave and knit a pullover or cardigan. I've got very good tips from your videos! Thanks a lot for your great work!

The beret with that wonderfully bright yarn is fantastic! Getting the ebook now 😁 Beautiful makes, as usual. I haven't tried KnitPicks yarn yet, and would probably end up picking out several types to try with small projects, then get carried away and blow my budget even with the gift card! Lol! Thank you to both KnitPicks for the giveaway and to you for the great video, adding to my To Be Made list. Lots of love from the Pacific Northwest 🧡

Your crochet blanket is a work of art!! All your projects are beautiful and I enjoy seeing different designs and designers mentioned. I never win anything but if I did win a Knit Picks gift card, I would probably buy some bare alpaca blend sock yarn. It takes the dye beautifully and is so soft. Enjoy your holiday visiting family.

Oh goodness $50 from KnitPicks?!?! I have had my eye on some tonal Hawthorne DK weight for a sweater, so the $50 would make a nice dent in the price of a sweater. I like to throw smaller projects into zipper bags that I then put in my backpack with my laptop to take to work. Drawstring works better for bigger projects though.
I am loving your channel you make learning new skills warm and comfortable.❤

I'd absolutely buy more sock yarn with a gift card! My very first Knit Picks order arrived earlier this week and everything is just gorgeous! I've been arguing with myself for the last 3 days over sticking to my rule of finishing both socks of the pair I'm currently knitting before I allow myself to cast on a new pair....I'm trying really hard to resist, but that new yarn is so squishy and soft and gorgeous and I can hear it telling me to give in and cast on! I'm also already in love with your lace tank design so please, please, PLEASE take pics before you send it off, and let us know once the pattern is released! That pattern would make a very cute little cardigan too!

I tend to use more drawstring bags but do have a few zipper bags too for socks. I like them in my purse....and that they can be folded down on top when I knit from it.

I've actually been looking at knitpicks trying to decide to either buy another set of wood interchangeables or dpn or both plus im reaizing i need more of the longer length cords. I'm working on a project & getting close to the bind off point & the pattern calls for 3 needle bind off. So would use it for that. Also to answer your other question being in a wheelchair I use zipper bags just in case I drop it.

I love the effect you were able to get with your yarn dying. Great idea and pretty shawl. I love these episodes , it is a favorite background knit -to activity that I look forward. I is nice taking the time to dedicate to just knitting.
Uh oh, 😆 I got caught up with new bags as well before , I found a shop i liked and now have 3 bags that sit upright , 11 " wide , 4 " deep with HANDLES , Inside pockets to hold extras has draw string top that domes up beyond the top and creates more height if project needs more room ....... and to my surprise she tosses in a matching notions pouch .
This adventure was after having zippers snagging or make yarn fuzzy.
Knitpicks gift certificate would be to try a yarn I have not tried before . I believe I have tried most of the sock yarns .

Your podcast is so enjoyable and full of useful information. Thank you for the suggestion of the lace cast on which is one that I’ve never heard of before. I will be checking that one out along with the woolly worm head patterns. Regarding the project bag preference, my choice has always been the drawstring style until recently when I purchased a zippered bag with a wide wristband like yours. I love it! The wristband easily stays on my wrist while I am knitting or moving. No tangling of drawstring to deal with and the zipper portion is not a problem because I just fold it down when knitting from the bag. If I would be so lucky as to win the Knit Picks gift selecting from their beautiful yarns would be heavenly. Knit Picks is having a great sale now which I indulged in but I drooled over one of their new DK yarns called Baa Ram Ewe. A big thank you to Knit Picks for making this prize possible on your podcast.

I used to prefer zippered bags but then I put a drawstring one with multiple pockets and I have been hooked ever since. I often use my yarn right out of the project bag and with a drawstring bag I don't have to worry about the yarn catching.

I love all of your projects, the Beret looks very interesting. Knit Picks has some of my favorite yarn and I would definitely get some of the Felici sock yarn and Hawthorn fingering if I won the gift card. Thanks!

Great episode. If I won the certificate from Knit Picks I would put it towards the large strucket tub. I’ve had my eye on it for a bit.

That a generous prize! I would purchase the DK CotLin yarn to make a summer top.

I don't know if I like draw string bags or ones with zippers better because I've only ever had zipper project bags, but I just got a draw string one as a gift so I'll be trying it soon!

I really have enjoyed your podcasts and learned a lot about what I need to learn! As a new knitter, I would probably order a short needle interchangeable set if I won the gift certificate. I love the set of regular needles I got from picks as well as my other knitting supplies.

The Diamond Cowl is really pretty. If it’s long enough you could add a twist before grafting the ends. For the mistake on your daughter’s scarf you could duplicate stitch to hide it. If I were to win I’d probably get some Cotlin for knitting baby wash cloths and replace some needle tips I broke.

Great ideas - for twisting the cowl first and duplicate stitch!

$50 would mostly pay for the yarn to make my mother a Christmas cardigan. Not sure what pattern yet, but she likes the Felix cardigan you spoke about in this video. I shared the pattern with her and she ooohed and ahhhhed over it. I crocheted her a cardigan earlier this year for her birthday that she loves, but haven’t attempted knitting one yet.

If I had $50 from Knit Picks I would be in heaven!!! I would get several colors of mohair to knit held double for one of the patterns from the Knitting with Olive pattern book!

I was going to say that I would buy Felici with the gift card, but that isn't available anymore. Stroll looks like a nice option though, so I'd try that one instead. As far as project bags go, I prefer drawstring for knitting at home, but I have a really cute zippered bag that packs well for travel. I generally take vanilla socks to knit when traveling, and the smaller zippered bag keeps everything securely tucked away, plus it lays flat in my suitcase. Great podcast, as usual.

I love Knit Picks! I would probably get a bunch of Stroll fingering and make matching light sweaters for my two kiddos. We live in Miami so heavy sweaters are not super practical.

I would probably get memento and make a summer tshirt or oceana and make a cardigan. I’ve used many knit pick yarn but neither of these. Great video. Look how you explained different subject matters in your videos.

I'm intrigued by the sideways beret. Can't wait to see how it turns out. If I was selected for the gift certificate I would be tempted to apply it towards a set of the interchangeable sock needles, But I would be much more likely to buy a sweaters quantity of Comfy fingering and then add in some Comfy worsted. I like that they added a but of acrylic to the cotton for strength and shape retention so it would be great to try it out.

I have the Knit Picks interchangeable needles and have been wanting to try some of their yarn. I have been looking at the Comfy yarn for a summer project and would use the $50 gift card to try that yarn. Really enjoy your monthly podcasts!

My next KintPicks order will probably include Palette fingering yarn for a colorwork sweater. I have 2 patterns I'd like to make and I haven't decided which to knit first.

Added prior comment while listening...before I got to the KnitPcks GC portion! I'd buy either yarn for socks, including your new lovely lacy patter, or I've got my eye on a cardigan I want to make for winter! Either way, $50 would go a long way!
And those bags are SO CUTE! Love them all! I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on zipper vs drawstrings!

Another great podcast. Always enjoyable to spend time with you.
I've been on the Knit Picks website today drooling over the wood needles. It's getting harder to get the Symphonie interchangeables here in Brisbane Australia and all but impossible to get any of the other wooden needles in all their gorgeousness so a $50 voucher would be spent on as many Caspian interchangeables as possible.

Beautiful makes! I tried the Stroll yarn making an Andrea Mowry cowl and I really enjoyed it. I would be tempted to get some more of that if I won. 😊
