Some extra information about Goatman that I’ve seen from other testers: 1. When he puts a cage around the rollercoaster/tram, it keeps moving but the survivor is taken off of it. 2. Harassers who have the ability to push back the hunter can push goatman back into the cage to the other side. 3. Priestess can get out the cage through a portal. 4. He is great on 2-story places. For example, if he puts a cage on the railing of factory in Leo’s memory, he can tele down and get a drop down hit and go back up. Great for big boat on lakeside, hospital, moonlit, etc. 5. He can avoid coordinator’s flare gun if he goes teleports to the other side of his cage and gets behind an object. The flare will just follow him around when he goes in and out of the cage until it hits something. (This is only if the coord shoots while also inside the cage) 6. Prospector cannot throw a magnet inside the cage from outside.
I have many doubts about this hunter regarding how the survivors will react to his ability, for example: Can the perfumer use the perfume on one side of the field, enter the other side and then return to the original point (I think this is unnecessary). 1. Can the priestess cross the wall using a portal? Do long portals work inside the field? 2. Can Professor Luchino start breaking the glass and cancel halfway through the process to suddenly stun the hunter with his wound shell? 3. Can the antique shop break the glass with the staff? 4. Will Faro Lady and the prisoner be able to connect machines normally from inside that dimension? 5. Can the mechanics' robots break the glass to provide support? 6. Can the journalist's little boy save normally? Is he immune to the hunter's power? 7. Can the Weeping Clow's torpedo break the glass or is there no collision and he goes through? 8. Will the cowboy's lasso work to rescue a survivor who is on the other side?
first question: yeah no shit her ability rewinds location 1. I dont think portal crosses the wall, but long portals should be fine 2. If any survivor can cancel mid-breaking animation, shouldnt be a problem for Professor. 3. I don't think so, since that would be crazy busted. She can probably use the jump to move across borders, though. 4. The dimension doesn't disable abilities. 5. Probably?? 6. According to how it seems to work, little boy probably can teleport by going into the edge. Maybe he stops due to the AI being unable to find path, idk. 7. Rocket definitely collides from outside, but from inside he would probably teleport. 8. No, I'm pretty sure the wall acts like a solid object.
@@thewaterleaf7929What? You think that should be an actual mechanic? Get downed like a bot and then struggling should be more viable? Struggling just serves for hunters not to be able to cross the whole map with a balloon or staying indefinitively with someone ballooned. And for a mechanic that only exists for that to be the purpose, it is VERY generous with how with just a bit of stalling and baiting, dropping someone just ONE time, and specially with characters like cowboy. It is VERY generous considering it's original purpose
I think he will be just like sangria where he will be considered very steong but top players who go against him alot will be able to counter him as they learn how he plays
pretty balanced so far(although more on the weaker side of balanced), even though he has small cooldowns the small duration for the cage makes up for it. and he is basically forced to utilize his cage as much as possible if you want a down. there can be some areas where cage is absolutely useless like the shacks(in which you could just bring broken windows thingy trait). His .25 dmg outside of cage prevents a double hit for rescuing, so his camp may be good at delaying but not downing the rescuer. It might be hard to chase the rescued survivor aswell since yeah, ability reliant... edit:just wanted to add that he is pretty screwed if there is a harasser
just cage off the harasser and that should give enought time to at least balloon them. also, my idea is you could cage off the rocket chair, then make another one around you and the rescuer, that way they at least take a full hit and if they are slow enough or you do that while theyre far away from the rocket chair, you could make a third cage and down the rescuer. I really would count anything out for this hunter cause he seems really versatile.
@@Kraauuussss_ it's like a cage and according to his lore, he was able to talk with animals and made money in some kind of carnival. After being trapped for (I assume) a very long time (Mainly bc of how disheveled he becomes by the end of his trailer compared to when he was first shown in the beginning). When he was finally released by his boss (bc apparently they were starting to lose interest with him being some kind of mystical human so that he can perform with his full potential) and he took it as an opportunity to get his revenge by doing a final and fatal show in the carnival. So I guess the cage is him trapping the survivors so that they feel the same way he did. The teleportation seems to be a metaphor regarding the feeling of being close but far from freedom (They try to escape thinking they can sneak out but their efforts are proven futile when they get teleported back at the opposite side). That's all I''ve figured out for now.
i think he has the quickest attack recovery i've ever seen on a hunter. it's kinda crazy how many shots he can take w/o worrying about a survivor struggling free. i wonder if he recovers the same if he accidentally hits the rocket chair? (or will it be a recovery animation that takes longer like when a hunter strikes prof's bubble :0 )
The random induction of chip damage is going to really hurt him. I don’t understand why idv makes new characters with debuffs that don’t balance them in any way… because they were already balanced from the jump
@stanislav5250 true, but then he is pretty much forced to ise the cage for every hit, and considering you have an energy bar for the cages it can be easy to run out of them
so he that type of hunter who have surprises skill like Joseph or Wu chang but more obvious. his class cage it too blurry to see, hope there a button in settings for that his 0.25 chip damage gonna be pain in the butt, not very effective against Doctor
Not really. He’s the opposite of hunters like Ivy. Ivy is good against tight kites, but suffers at transition kites, whereas goatman suffers at tight kites, but excels at transition kites by completely shutting down that survivors pathing, and almost always forcing a hit on them with proper placements.

Number 5 is 100% because if a survivor can do it then the bot can
Thing with bot tho is iirc, if a standing survivor is inside you cant break from the outside
The S accessory for this hunter would go wild
12:24 is insane. He can teleport to other side with a ballon.!!
Forward Antiquarian Batter Cowboy left the chat
He can stack the cages as well! Imagine downing near shack in arm factory and he just drag you to the factory basement with 3 cages
I hope they don’t nerf that 🥲
as if struggling out wasn't already basically impossible

His energy charges a lot quicker than I thought
it's the main source of damage output for him so
If it didn’t he will be struggling a lot ngl maybe
Yeah his cds are the same as clerks, one charge of cage per 20 seconds
Well he uses a lot of energy when using his cage so I think it’s a fair trade off
So his skill is like Aurora from league if anyone's familiar with it
It really is but how does it have anything to do about being a goat lol

His cages reminds me of the old ripper.
Bee rawr
Hi. Can you test his hitbox and charge attack? Thanks
His hit box is really small and so is his charged attack
hit box:3.54m same as clerk undead and feast, is the longest one in the game
charge attack:4.05m
7:27 so I take it, the Goatman’s detention hit is his normal hit unless the cages comes along.
0:06 Goatman Known As Jeffrey Bonavita 😊
Buff him

also idk bcus i havent seen it, but i'm guessing he can blink or warp into the cage w/ no problem?
can tracy bot/alice little orphy camera be affected by the cage?
How did u get on the test servers??
New hunter dropped oh snap ❤
how can i get into test servers ?
Do matches still take long to find. I stopped playing months ago bc of that.
Only in higher tiers
Can u run through the cage and run back to the other side as the hunter is going to your side?
Yes, the bots in the video are just not coded to do that so they break it immediately
Wait there's no cooldown on his cage summons? I thought there was?
It's energy dependent apparently so you can use another cage instantly without CD as long as you have energy or three
The random induction of chip damage is going to really hurt him. I don’t understand why idv makes new characters with debuffs that don’t balance them in any way… because they were already balanced from the jump
Goatman had domain expansion👁️👄👁️
His chip damage is really useless not gonna lie, maybe if hitting inside the cage dealt 0.75 damage it would be ok
Nah. Goatman's main point is that he is supposed to hit survs INSIDE of the cage.
@stanislav5250 true, but then he is pretty much forced to ise the cage for every hit, and considering you have an energy bar for the cages it can be easy to run out of them
It’s not entirely useless. It basically allows you to down Merc faster.
@@TheBenedictchan1 but goatman still has to hit merc thrice, right?
Maybe one third (0,35) damage outside and two thirds inside could work.
no cooldown for the wall placement?
There needs to be no cd on wall placement or else he cant connect his cages to utilise his teleport
What, the bot know how to break the barrier too😮
omg how to counter this hunter, his energy is faster than spider
Stay in the middle of cage
He looks me really horror
2:22 wait I'm confused why coor didn't down ???
Outside the cage he deals only 0.25 damage
@@larisakor1 yes but it deals 0.5

That backwards dashing skill is fricking stupid. They should change it to sth more useful
i think in while they might nerf is reload
They will probally nerf him having full energy at the start, other killers like soul weaver do not start with full energy
The design of the cage is meh
Yes :( it would be awesome if it has actual fences as mad eyes
Неужели вспомнили что игра должна быть хоррор

that why he can create 2 walls and the energy is reduced to 14
there's no way you think the cage looks too blurry. it seems way obvious for me.
@@mcdoomer194 maybe i need to get use to it somehow, who know maybe I don't even play him to begin with

Dude looks extremely difficult to play as ngl.
He’s so op
def isnt, you might just be low tier

i back for say guys, Goatman is a dropped hunter XD sorry
¿What is that jump???? useless
you can use it with the wall on the inside, and use the jump to cross the map like bq
I can actually see hunters trick jumping, turning around, jumping back (towards survs.) and flicking back facing them and hit.
