    By using narrowing down with Zotero, Since this data is based from multiple databases; how we can map that a certain data is availble only on a specfic database.

    Thank you for the video; it was very helpful. However, after following your steps, I encountered an issue. My Zotero library contains 200 articles, but when I exported it to a RIS file, the file size was only around 231 KB, and when I uploaded to Vosviewer with the minimum number of occurrences of a keyword (1), it only selected 5 keywords out of all of these articles. Can you help? I checked the article; they are all saved from the web.

    Thank you for your great video. Really helpful. However, I have a problem with the RIS file from zotero (articles and book chapters added via doi to zotero). I followed all steps of your procedure, I added the file to vosviewer, and the only option I got is to analyse co-authors without the possibility of selecting co-occurrence. Happened multiple times. Even after creating groups and libraries from scratch. Has this occurred to you and do you know what might be the problem? Thank you!

    • @gabrielanaglealverio8430
      @gabrielanaglealverio8430  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for your question! I have been messing around with VOSviewer and I think the best way would be to download the full citation data from Scopus (which is csv) and then download the same data from WebofScience in Excel. The tricky part is that the order of the columns is not the same so you would then re-order the columns of the WebofScience sheet to match the Scopus sheet and then copy the data to the Scopus file. From there you should be able to import into Vosviewer through the normal Scopus file upload which gives more options for co-citation and country collaboration analysis. I haven't tried actually executing it yet but this is my thought process. Once I sit down to do it if I have any other suggestions I will let you know. If you find a better way to do it please let me know!
      In case it is helpful I did record a basic collaboration of countries visualization in VOSviewer here: th-cam.com/video/4GEUne3_jm0/w-d-xo.html
      And another one of country visualizations that may be easier than creating the combined record of all of the elements of a Scopus record: th-cam.com/video/JGFjZNfeDnE/w-d-xo.html

      Hey Peishen, I'm not entirely sure why that's happening although what I would try to do is download it in a different format and import it based on the default format for that database. For instance, Scopus uses CSV so maybe trying that will help.

    Estimada Gabriela. Gracias por tus aportes. Sin embargo le pregunto: ¿Es posible mapear y analizar simultáneamente con VOSviewer datas de Google Scholar, WOS y Scopus?? Es decir, procesar y lograr reflejar en 1 mapa-análisis datos de los tres archivos y bases

      Gracias por su pregunta! Por lo que yo sepa, no es posible utilizar datas de Google porque no se pueden descargar en una forma que VOSviewer sepa leer bien. Lo mejor sería usar más bases de data como WOS y Scopus para incluir más papeles

      @@gabrielanaglealverio8430 Hola. Muchas gracias estimada Gabriela. Tiene usted razón, sin embargo, en tal caso quedarían excluidos del análisis muchos trabajos que se han publicado en Latíndex y SciELo, por ejemplo. He pensado y estoy indagando si hay otro programa o software que no sea VOSviewer que pueda emplearse, o si seria aceptable aplicar distintos, cosa que de pronto no me parece coherente o aceptable. Si puede sugerirme algo al respecto se lo agradecería. Mil gracias anticipadas. Saludos
