These are watermarks. To do what you want you can import the bats as a 2d image (component-always faces camera), and place them exactly where you want them in the model. But then they would move around as you pan and zoom the model--which is probably what you'd want anyway
Great tutorial, background and overlays is important for ehhancing the scenery in Sketchup
Nice demonstration. Practical. Thorough and easy to follow.
Another great Skill Builder video. "Thank you!"
Thank you. Good tutorial, as always!!
I'm a little underwhelmed by the fact that stuff like the bats don't have more freedom to be positioned around.

EPIC Display of artistic technical balance
PS
Still need the name of your Title jingle/tune/melody :-)
Neat
Where do I find pictures like these? Not Halloween, but the style with building and sky.
Will watermarks show up on Renders? Twilight render did not show watermark on the bottom right corner? thanks
Watermarks are SketchUp artifacts. While they WILL show up in 2D exports, they are not actually part of the model (thus, not in renders).
Cool..
If I want to protect my SKP/LO files from being copied without my permission, can watermarks be locked in? Thanks!
Is this available in the free version as well?
Yup: in SketchUp Make, you can add and manipulate watermarks.
Wow
