There are some dance videos which are amazing, but as a non-dancer I think, admittedly fairly unrealistically, "if I practise for a while I could do those moves", but this choreography extracts every single hour of training these dancers have had since they started at three years old. The strength, agility, control and emotion are just jaw-dropping. And all beautifully filmed to perfection. I do not get tired of watching this.
I hate to be the one to say it, but unless you had quite a bit of training, most of these turns, leaps, and stunts would look sloppy. Tiktok dancers are mostly self-taught with some hard work. This dance is a whole other artistic beast.
Not necessarily, if you commit to training, you can certainly do these moves. However, you won't look like these dancers who devote their lives to it. You may not be able to have straight lines or lift your leg that high, but so what? If you love dancing, it will show.

Just a stunning performance! Incredibly danced by all the dancers. The piece simply flowed from one movement to the next. Beautifully directed and filmed. I have watched and enjoyed Erica's dances for years, but this piece highlights her growth as a choreographer. Still sitting here stunned. Must watch this again!

Thanks for saying that. Mostly the TH-cam algorithm trying to compete with TikTok, as well as the general audience for dance leaving TH-cam to watch short clips on IG. It got like 400k views on my Instagram. Strange times

This dance is full of stunning lines, angles, and levels, and controlled power. The ebb and flow, as well as the connections, are perfect! My favorite part? The cleanness of the feet! So pointed and precise.

It's so satisfying to watch the cleanness and smoothness of their moves, and as a dancer I know it gets a lot of effort and training to get to that level. Not to mention the lighting, the scene, the atmosphere, the video making.. no joke that's hands down one of the most well done dance video and choreography I've ever seen
50 years old, almost 20 years of hiphop and contemporary in my youth. Even had a dance academy for a while, and I have never seen such a spectacular representation of everything I love about our art in one presentation. You can pause any frame of this video and pop it on the wall as a photo at any school of arts on earth. Absolute masterclass.

Some of these dancers are self taught… if you had some dance experience and danced everyday you could do this. Not impossible
