very nice, is there any chance there might be a 90 degree fitting to point it back towards the rear?

So you replaced the "face" seal that seals against the machined smooth surfaces of the gun and the pressure gauge with a "white washer" that is compressed in the bottom of the port by the stub end of the threaded "nipple" on the gauge....and this doesn't leak over time? And if the gauge doesn't line up exactly you add o rings to increase the thickness of the "seal"....and this doesn't leak over time? or right away? Sorry for the skepticism ...but I am ChE in the industrial gas sector...and have seen my fair share of "proper" sealing systems leak...and I am not understanding how this seals esp at these pressures. Don't get me wrong, I am hoping it does! because I want to do exactly what you are showing...replace my gauge with a digital for significantly more precise readings... Have you tested the digital gauges accuracy and repeatability? Thank you and regards

All seals will leak over time, but many manufacturers use this sealing method in the base, so it is common practice.
When using the o-ring the white seal just becomes a spacer. Again many manufacturers also do this - including FX. Again will always leak over time as will any seal. It's just a case of getting the rifle amount pressure on the seal and hoping that it lines up.
Interesting with your background in ChE, I also have over MEng in ChE with 8 years experience in oil and gas sector. As I am sure you know you will not get precise readings from a gauge at £50 (hence why some instruments are 5k+ for a industry pressure measurement with maybe 2% accuracy). What we have found is that these gauges have excellent repeatability, which i'm sure you recognise is more important than accuracy in this application.
We have a test jig where we can test 5 gauges at the same time, but always comes down to the accuracy of what you use as your reference gauge. However, from hundreds of digital gauges tested they are always within 1% of each other and always within 1% of the Keller and Wika gauges which we generally use as a good industry standard.
I'm thinking of doing a few technically related airgun videos (similar to this discussion on accuracy vs repeatability) but not sure how well it goes down with the average person. Without experience in practice it is difficult to explain (similar to people saying their £10 pellet scales are accurate to 3 decimal places - which isn't true, it shows 3 decimal places which implies a level of accuracy that isn't there, however if all you want to do is compare 2 items on the same scale the actual accuracy of the ultimate weight is not as important as the repeatability, which is important for the comparison.
Good to have the discussion on this! Something that 99% of people do not think about. 😇
      Best Regards,
      Richard

Thank you for the quick and thorough reply! I think there are enough of us whether engineerds or not...that would appreciate the more in-depth analysis. +/- 1% on a 400 barg gauge is +/- 58 psi which could mean ~ 100 psi difference between gauges....this might seem like a lot...but compared to the OEM gauge I doubt that would even move the pointer., but more critically to your point if the gauge reads the same pressure as the same value every time...that is really all we are after; the ability to dial in the settings and get the same result each time. I ended up on your video because I have a .22 FAC Revere that bends my Gammo resettable "Field Target" targets and knocks the hole sizing plate off even out at 50 yards...so I have been researching-analyzing for the last 4+ weeks ....177 Ghost vs .177 M3 vs S510XS Xtra Ultimate .177 The S510 is a gorgeous walnut rife....but the other 2 have much more utility...the 2 stage pressure regulation on the M3...I know that is "better" but the internet is loaded with "my Impact leaks" stories...I would appreciate your opinion in my effort to over analyze the "problem"...haha.@@bagnallandkirkwood

Cómo es posible que des tantas vueltas y no expliques bien cómo se instala??? Al final te sobran juntas!!! Muy mal explicado
