Happy Crocheting Everyone!! - บันเทิง
Everything was beautiful Glenda and flooded me with warm memories of my "Nanny" (paternal grandmother) making hundreds of doilies and dresser scarves. She also crocheted afghans. She tatted on pillowcases she embroidered. And she made beautiful quilts with identical tiny stitches. I'm the only one of her four grandchildren who appreciates her work. None of the greats so far are interested either. It's sad.
You have accomplished so much. The most significant in my eyes is seeing Cody following in your footsteps. I am thrilled each time I see anything he crochets. I hope he continues, as he seriously has the talent.
Thank you for sharing!
It breaks my heart to see these works of art selling for pennies. Thank you for rescuing them Glenda. 💓
The one with the flowers.i crochet everyday also been crocheting 50 years retired and 73 now. Free time everyday to do what I love
Memories are Marvelous! Thank you!!!! You bring so much love and joy to the Crochet World!!! THANK YOU!!!
Vintage crochet at it's best, these doilies are treasures, all so beautiful. My Mother crocheted so many doilies, she was such a hard worker, she would sit in the evening and crochet, that was her way of relaxing. I love the glove on the stretcher, I have always liked to see ladies wearing gloves.
So nice to see another doily rescuer! It’s sad that all that work is only valued at a dollar.
I love making doilies! These are gorgeous! I don't take offense to cheaper prices in antique or thrift shops. It gives people who can't afford these wonderful items a chance to own one or so. Yes, I do hope, eventually, my family will have a fun time distributing my lovingly made items amongst themselves. But, if others get a chance to have one, so be it. I crochet daily for my enjoyment. The creativity is endless.
The blanket was my favorite item. ❤
HI GLENDA, SUCH BEAUTIFUL ITEMS YOU GOT. I LIKED THE BLANKET. THANK YOU FOR SHARING ❤

Hi yes I remember all of them I made all them thanks for the good old days
This was a great visit with all the vintage doilies and other items. The glove stretcher with the delicate glove on it is lovely. So many hours of crochet represented. If only we could hear the stories from those who made these treasures! ♥
Love all your purchases from the flea market/thrift store. My favorite was the last item, the blanket. I liked the colors and the stitch…so different.🥰
That afghan is gorgeous; definitely my favorite
Pineapple doily 😍😍

I loved them all. All were beautiful.
The doilies are pretty, but I really liked the blanket. :)
I love all but the blanket took the cake.
What beautiful projects Glenda! You always find the most wonderful items!
I love looking at all of the older stuff as well
I absolutely love all of those doilies, I would be tempted to see them together and make a beautiful curtain.
That looks like the pineapple doilies I used to make. All the doilies bring back wonderful memories. I am 90 years old and have done lots of crochet, blankets and many other things. I have enjoyed all the doilies you have bought. Greetings from New Zealand.
Wow! Great deals!!! So many hrs spent crocheting those intricate doilies!! Love them. Loved all of your precious finds!! Don’t see these deals here in CA thrift stores or antique stores. Much more expensive!!!
I’d have to work in doilies during daytime hrs!! My eyes are definitely not the same anymore!!
Blessings!! 🙏💗
So happy for your great finds ❣️
Loved those doilies. I have been crocheting for 50+ years and made my first doily last year (have made 3 of them) so I know the time and patience that goes into them. Those were a steal at 1.00 or less. And that blanket! Loved that pattern.
This was fun going back in time. You found some great items. My favorite was the colorful doily. It’s nice to go back to the good ol’ days even if it’s for a short time.
Great finds! I like the blanket and the big white doily, all were beautiful! Thanks for sharing..
Hi Glenda Beautiful items My favorite was the blanket Thanks for sharing Take care 🥰
O my goodness they are so dainty and in good shape...I loved the 3rd from the end not including the afghan. Its the mandala looking one . So intricate. All were gorgeous. The netted glove was so vintage looking .Some could have been copied from the originals which is brilliant because it enlightens folks to keep the art and design patterns in the present day. Great treasure find 🧶 Thank you CG for showing what you found . An inspiration indeed ✨
What great finds ❤ The doilies are just beautiful and all the time and love that went into them.
What treasures! Although I liked most of them, my favorite was the pineapple stitch design doily. 😊
I loved all the beautiful doilies ! Great finds !
Beautiful items! That blanket is absolutely gorgeous ❤
The afghan was so large and nice. Would love for you to tell us how to crochet one. Also loved the different colored roses around the doily.
I loved all the doelies ❤
How fun! You found some unique items. The blanket is pretty. I would enjoy making it as a scrap buster. Hint Hint Be Well
Super neat!! My favorite was the doily with flowers. Reminds me of my Grandmother.❤
I absolutely love the doileys you found, they are all so beautiful. Just like you, I also need to crochet every day. So every evening I put on utube and catch up on crochet/yarn talk from all my favorites while I crochet. Love your channel Glenda.
All the pieces I loved
I especially liked the colorful star potholder. I think these were meant to be used decoratively. The blanket at the end was great, my kind of colors. All the items were beautiful & such great finds. As a former antique dealer, I can honestly say I would have bought all of those items for my shop. I could never have resisted taking that that sweet crocheted glove home to add to the Victorian hand made items I’ve collected for years.
Beautiful doileys,so much work. I love the blanket it is very nice
Hi Glenda, so very happy to hear that your surgery went well and that you are noticing the difference already. I love seeing all the things you find on your shopping trips, my favourite this time is the blanket, the colours are great.
Sending love and hugs for you and your mum 💕🫂🫂💕 from a very bleak and dismal Lancashire, England. Have a lovely weekend xxx
My favourite is the blanket, but it was all really interesting
I enjoyed this so much. I loved them all❤️
Glad you bought the blanket. It's my favorite.
I just couldn't pick one. A lot of hard work has gone into making those doilies and all are so very beautiful. You're lucky to find them.
You did take me back in the day Irember my grandma .aki.g them and we would have some they are beautiful I can't believe people sell them for a dollar. Thank you for sharing Glenda
What great finds! The afghan/blanket would be a fantastic scrap buster, but would also look great worked up using a planned color scheme. Glenda, would you consider making a tutorial using that pattern - or something close to it with your added touch? Thanks for sharing!
My favorite item was that large doily. I don't do thread crochet but I really appreciate the work that goes into it.
The blanket is beautiful I hope you can make that and show us
Love the afghan..do us a tutorial for that stitch so pretty
When I was younger I made doilies all the time. A non crocheter priced those. Those are so pretty.
My mom used to make the pin cushion hats in every color. Good memory.
Such a lovely memories Glenda im the same i love crochet i crochet every day love the items
Very nice items. I liked the large doily.
I was puttering around the Antique Depot in Duncansville, just outside of Altoona and thought of you. Lots of crocheted afghans and doilies for you to rescue! I'm collecting doilies to someday make a blanket out of, but some were rather pricey. You'd be in heaven!
Hi Glenda that big afghan was beautiful we have alot in common I can't go with out crocheting either I also knit but prefer crochet thank you for your videos I look forward to them have a nice weekend 😊
I love all that you found. I had an aunt that made all the doles and my mom had a lot that she made. And when she wash them and starched them I would help her pin them on a big piece of cardboard.
So many beautiful doilies! Loved the afghan and the flowered doily. Maybe a tutorial on that beautiful afghan....
Sorry I don’t have a favorite because they all are so beautiful I love the blanket and dollies very nice fine
Hi Glenda I remember some one in my family had a hat pincushion like the one you showed.😊 Good memories 😃.
I loved the blanket!
my favorite was the leaves trimmed in all the colors then white on the back.
👋 Glenda! I love rescuing old doilies. The 75 cent one reminded me of a butterfly. The afghan at the end is way too awesome to frog it for the yarn. 😮 The seller not so crafty. lol
Nice finds. Love the doilies.
Very pretty! My grandma made those and tablecloths….i personally don’t have the patience 😂
Love the blanket! I love vintage things too. Could you do a tutorial on the blanket?
Your finds are beautiful
I love the antique glove w/stretcher. So pretty & and prolly tea-dyed? Loved the lil hat pincushion. I was thinking I had a pattern somewhere, I hope I do. Gorgeous addition as decoration for a baby's room w/diaper pins sticking out or antique hat pins elsewhere. I especially like that last afghan. I think I've seen that pattern before. Surely it's on the Internet somewhere. But I really love all your finds. Thx for "rescuing" & sharing them w/us 😍
Great antique pieces. Love the doily with the crochet circle in different colors around the edge
I am very interested in seeing a tutorial of you replicate that one, Glenda! Not sire if these items would have copyright restrictions.
Thank you for sharing.
🧶🧶🌸🧶🧶
Beautiful doilies. I have bought a lot of doilies in second hand stores and have repaired some.
Thanks for sharing your finds. I love that blanket. Do you think you could replicate that pattern for us ? PS. You and Cody look so much alike. 😊
I made many of those pin cushion hats and to many doilies to remember!🤣
I really enjoy seeing the older doilies and potholders. Especially love the rainbow blanket! Do you happen to have that pattern/stitch on your channel? I would love to be able to make a blanket or scarf with it! Thank you for sharing your finds!❤
I love your organization of your yarns, I too also have cubicles but I put my yarns inside large web hefty bags so the dust don't get on the yarn.
I big doiley I made one years ago. I still have it
Beautiful doilies! ❤ And it's kind of sad, thinking of the work going into making them and being sold like this.
Beautiful ❤❤
Hi Glenda, love your videos. Wow, what cool finds. Never know what you'll see at a flea market or antique store. Love the old items...I would hope young folks would appreciate those items, a lost art. I tried tatting to make a doiley and of course you can crochet them too. Have you ever tried tatting? I prefer the needle over the shuttle method. I'm going to go to our local flea market this weekend, see what I can find. Also looking for some ceramic bisque items to paint for the holidays! 😁 Thanks for sharing
Great video, thank you
My mum use to make those pin cushion hats
Cute
Will you please try to make that the pot holder it's gorgeous
I have a pattern like the one you spent $14.00, but it has a rose in the middle and roses all around the edge.
Loved the blanket. The doilies are pretty but I’m not a really a lacy, doily fan.
😊
My Grandma would be trying to figure out the pattern and make some.
Thanks!
Thank You so much for your support of my channel, your support is greatly appreciated
Loved the rainbow blanket. Do you think that you could replicate the pattern and make a tutorial? 😬
Can you come up with a tutorial/pattern so we can reproduce the rainbow blanket?!
I’m would be awesome if you could figure out the blanket pattern and stagger the rows. 😊❤
The doilies are so delicate and would have taken hours and hours of work with such thin thread! Such a shame to see them considered to be of no value. It is a true sign of the work women did to beautify their homes.
