You did a great job! Very fair to all boxes in my opinion. I will say, I'm glad you said something about The Wizarding Trunk spoons. I didn't even think about if they were made out of a safe material or not😬. I guess I won't be using them in my sugar bowl 😂. I still love the design of them though, so I will display them with my Marauders Map teapot and teacups 😊.

Fascinating video. I have mostly loved The Wizarding trunk boxes. However for this theme yes Magic Delivered nailed it. So wish I had bought the box… like you say. Lots of useable items. True I wish the Wizarding trunk put more detail into whats in products and if they can safely be used. I do think the Portrait pins are very original and for those that collect pins a fun way to have a portrait wall. Also the pictures are well executed on them and we have seen some interesting characters… While the magic delivered box for herbology was great. I was not keen on the recent creatures box. So as you say. Hit and miss. Yes agree LitJoy has sadly lost it heart… they did some wonderful designs and came out with many items that were must buys. Lets hope the shop socks some amazing items again…

I quite agree, I think when you consider the format (ie a pin) there is originality in the portrait pins and the illustrations have been lovely. I feel similarly on the Magic Delivered theme to theme comparison. I liked A LOT of the products in the magical creatures box (ie an umbrella) just the design/style wasn't for me. I like paper products too (I've got a video coming out soon-ish with paper products 😊). I think it comes down to the preference of what's on the paper products.
Enjoyed this video as it’s interesting to see others opinions on favourite items. We are all so different. I’m not a big fan of paper products but I love replicas that I can display. I love artwork but I don’t have the room to display many. Plushies are not for me but I love usable items. However I’m not a gardener so most of the usable items would be wasted on me. My overall favourite items are potions and I generally like TWT best for those. I don’t subscribe to any of these boxes (only Cauldron Crate) and so I just occasionally purchase items I love from the shops. I love all your videos and you need to stop apologising for things like weirdness and length cos that is why we love you!! 💙💙🦅🦅

And we shouldn't feel less than for what we like or buy. I have a video idea where I want to get into that more, and make people feel welcome for what they like. I really enjoy the TWT potions too! You really worked hard for this video. A+! The more I watched, the more I thought that it is impossible to compare them although they are so similar. But exactly that might be the problem: They are so similar. There are hardly any differences. I like all three boxes and all three companies, and I´m looking forward to seeing what they come up with next. But as I´ve said before: Originality becomes more difficult to achieve over time. You will necessarily see repetitive items and ideas. I love when they do the more subtle references or things from the magical world, like degnoming kits or whatever. That is what the suscription boxes are best at in my opinion: Creating stuff that is not mainstream. I really hope the remaining companies can keep up bringing those items. I think there are still a lot of opportunities.

I feel all three have room to improve and things they do well. This was just one box/theme. Had we done a different theme, it might have been completely different. I do believe, as Matt and I chatted about today, that originality is possible when we're willing to expand beyond what is comfortable. As he and I were just talking, one uncomfortable place would be diving into more book references (ie Peeves, SPEW, etc). I think, as he said, the reason we don't see that much of that (and thus a lot of the same common stuff, as far as references) is the audience now and age group now coming into it, have only seen the movies. It's my hope that with the show we get more expansion, with merch. But I am a believer that originally is always possible, we just have to get uncomfortable (which often means stepping outside the box & taking risks). And I TOTALLY agree, I think there's so much opportunity and I'm excited to see what more is brought! Thank you so much for your time and thought. 💕
I judge boxes by the cost of the items i keep plus what i can regift and then what i can sell to see if i get my money's worth. If not i dont keep the subscription and just buy only items i like when they show up in the shop.
Seems like the Wizarding Trunk charges a flat shipping fee as my total is the same and I'm about 2 hours from where they ship their items lol. Wish it was a tad cheaper but I like their boxes.
Hands down I prefer Wizarding Trunk to the other two boxes. I got all 3 and the only items I plan to keep from the other two boxes are the Journals. Both the Magica Delivered and Litjoy boxes being late and then us getting what we got was a huge let down.
I quite agree. Whenever there are significant delays, it heightens the pressure on the company to 'perform' leaving us expecting more and being disappointed. As far as I recall we didn't get much delay with Magic Delivered in this one, but oh boy did we with LitJoy. And for LitJoy this was the second box where the delays were significant and many. Because things will go wrong, but when it's regular, it becomes an issue.
I believe Magic Delivered, when they were Accio, also did a potting bag - it was a burlap one. Of all the boxes, I like Magic Delivered the best, I think.
I like the TWT creature pages and paper prints and book cases. The book covers will go till number seven. They dropped a hint about thier next project in the latest cheat sheet! The quality of these items is 90%. Magic Delivery ( Accio) has some orginal items for sure. But thier items are on the more younger set, and not collectible. LitJoy has in the past has had somewhat better collectible items. But the amount of items is too small for price! The fact that they are getting out of the game is telling! Overall I still favor TWT over Magic Delivered. I am a collector first, usability second. But on an item like a journal, I do not need one every two months! So I prefer items that are collectible and rare. Magic Delivered is known for thier buttery-soft tees! So that's why my mortar and pestule are a bit late!
I did forget to mention (I always forget something 🤦♀) that the covers go to 7 but this isn't the only set of covers they've done, so my perspective is it's gone on too long. 🤷🏻♀ I don't dislike the creature pages, they are quite neat. However, I think the binder looks cheap and not in world and I expect when a box is themed, all items inside pertain to the theme. Only occasionally do the pages fit the theme. You've got me wanting to pursue a video idea I have, that would address collecting. As I think we all define and approach it differently. For example, usable items are a part of my collection. But I think it's another place where I feel 'weird and odd' because I don't even consider it a collection. Oooo this is a video idea that excites me! Thank you so much!! A great deal of people in the US have the UK books as well! Yes I did get them! They made my sore mouth very happy! By the way, did your box get an apron?
