this beautiful melancholy is drawing me back to the days of my solitude in my countryhouse where I used to work on my custom "Warcraft 3" campaign to the music like this. Tool, Emma Ruth Rundle, Intronaut, Karnivool, Land of Talk, Julien Baker, Low - all of them have been there in my playlist. and also a lot of ambient music. priceless days when I could finally learn if not even study the feelings that accompany human solitude near the nature. now as a Ukrainian refugee I'm away from home, and I'm missing it tremendously with really little prospect to return as the war can rage on for decades to come. the only thing that is solacing me is music - music from that times still remains with me... but it's solacing as well as torturing - torturing with memories with no possibilities to return. it's like a Groundhog Day for me ever since I've left Ukraine. they say that home is where the heart is - but I feel like I can't rip off my heart from my Ukrainian home. I've fallen in love with that place too hard. it's even scary for me to imagine the moment I will no longer need or want to return
I want to say that music like this is spiritually educating. it's not mere entertainment. it teaches to feel, to mourn, to value things. it teaches empathy
