What is the thick of this square tube?
What spec tubing is being used here? We cut tubing in our laser as well (Rotolas) but we know that if we want to maintain a tighter tolerance +/- .010" we have to used ASTM A513 tubing. This ensures straightness and consistent radius all 4 corners of the tube. My point is that the spec of material used definitely plays a factor when lasering features into a tube. Nevertheless, we will be trying something like this at my shop as well!
Do you even know how much this machine is!! Companies will buy this machine, not to charge less but to reduce time in projects! Meaning good bye to overtime! Ha, "to make it more affordable"! Companies get grittier as they go! Is why I choose to be Union pipe welder!!

we are able to cut steel tubes and pipes by using laser technology in 3d up to diameter 508 mm and 15 meters length.
I stumble over this video from time to time and I love this technology. If you guys can put this tech into a 4x4x4 foot foot print, this tech would sell as well as a niche market could... I mean, wow.. save time by linking with someone else's install base, retro your tools into that structure. Just an idea.. I want to see this tech in every machinist shop!

I fabricate chassis and Buggy parts and all I can say is wow, one minute on you machine is equiviliant to at least one hour on the chop saw......Great work
Do you use lantek for cnc programming ? where do you design how to cut it for right bending because i have problems with that ( we use autodesk inventor)

The notched piece is still tabbed in so it won't move just have to hammer it out
