What's your favorite funny Beatles moment?
Glyn John's "You do realize this tape is costing you two shillings a foot?" when they were goofing off
Harrison: "It's costing EMI that"
"GET ME OFF THIS BASS"
When George literally killed a microphone
Yoko Jr !!
Ringo farting hands down.
George Martin is such a gentleman, first in not acknowledging Ringo's fart, then in thanking Ringo for doing so.
He must have had the patience of a saint. 😂
George Martin was being sarcastic when he thanked Ringo!
@@wiseonwords Yes, I know. My comment wasn't free of sarcasm either.
@@drtmuir he was the manager for the Beatles and watching this it must've been hard but worked
@@Foxx_modelling George Martin was their producer. Brian Epstein was their manager, but he died in 1967.
Paul, Linda and Ringo holding hands is just my favorite part
John and Heather's conversation about the kittens was hilarious. 🤣🤣
Especially cuz John loved cats 😸
@@judyakajude3370thought he was into monkeys
grade A uncle humour
Heather mocking Yoko is too gold
Also Paul spitting his coffee when Ringo farts is classic
Haha good on her
I wouldn't say she is mocking Yoko, she is too young to be mean like that. She is imitating the adults and she figured she can't play guitar like Dad but she can sing like Dad''s friend's new friend. I have years of working with kids. Mocking 8s for aging Beatle fans who never liked the avante garde anyway
@@doitnowvideosyeah5841 I agree with you 100%
@@doitnowvideosyeah5841 john isnt her dad tho
@@stevenhoward1868he means Paul
The "goodnight" scene at the end.
My McLennon heart gently weeps
Ah yes😌💙🥲
same
Yeah you can hear something so intimate there.. or maybe it’s just wishful thinking
Def wishful thinking
John looks like a proud uncle when little Heather starts imitating Yoko 😂
Mike McCartney's solo on Dig It is underrated. I'm glad we have footage of it at last
It is indeed a sublime piece of work.
what? he's only playing an air-piano.
@@renebea9 Well technically, he's playing a wood-piano.
Inspired... 🎹😆
@@renebea9 r/whooosh
The way John humored Heather was so cute 😭❤️
Heather looking mischievously at Paul/Linda after doing her Yoko impression like they dared her to do it
I love the fact that the documentary shows them enjoying each other and not at each other's throats.
Same
shows both, I think
@@amandas.6745 not really. I think that's part of the creative process.
@@kaveman1021 Not necessarily, in my experience ;-) I think the documentary (watched three parts of it so far) shows, that the whole get-back session wasn't as gloomy and fated as the first film made it seem. But knowing that they broke up just a year later and knowing they where at the brink of breaking up already during the White Album recordings, it is easy to see the reasons.
The original version you should see..I still have it on vhs... you'll see some real heated arguments.
1:17 Nobody has ever made gibberish sound that beautiful.
John and Paul = my last two brain cells
The lady who is complaining could be straight out of a Monty Python skit.
I think that's where they got the idea for all of those skits in drag 😂
@@kaveman1021 Those old ladys looking like that were 10 to a dozen back in those guys' youth! 😂. By those guys I mean both the Beatles and the Pythons... they were/are all about the same age.
Are you American? When I seen the old woman my first thought wasn’t Monty Python but that she is a very old school woman who was probably born at the beginning of the 1900s. She’s from a long gone generation that’s for sure.
"What's all this about sex on the television? I mean...I keep fallin' off!"
@@td370 it doesn't matter where anyone is from. It's about the pop culture reference as the Python's TV show started at roughly the same time.
“What kinda of women are you into Ringo”
“Paul’s wife”
I thought He was holding Paul's hand.
Beatles: Get Back was HEAVEN for a Beatles fan---it's the little bits that made me smile.
Like when John, Ringo and Paul had a huddle.
And for musicians of all types.
You really get to see, they're just like us.
Really removes all the deifying people do to show just a bunch of talented lads who were good at making music.
heather mccartney was really just adorable in this series ❤️
Heather is such a goofball of sunshine ngl
I love how Paul was just playing with her absentmindedly. That seemed like such a genuine gesture.
The chaotic energy is impeccable 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Paul biting the mic 😂❤️
The same one John literally ate
@@Foxx_modelling Please don’t say that.🙃
@@gretchennelson7056 but he did 😭
Nom. Tasty microphone
Paul and John singing with their teeth clinched!! I laughed so hard!! Loved it all, every bit!!
Paul and John saying goodnight to each other 💙💙💙💙💙
I love that George turns up half way through don't let me down and smiles...such a lead guitar player move I love it
0:14 Paul inventing ASMR
One of my favorite things about Get Back was just seeing Michael Lindsay-Hogg being his pretentious, pompous self while still being strangely likeable.
Seeing him being dragged up onto the roof face down, totally limp dead weight, with his ridiculous cigar in his mouth was really funny to me.
Yeah, the athletic type he wasn't...😂
0:37 LOL💀
When Heather bangs the drum, Ringo is at first startled and angry, but then he sees it's her, and he smiles warmly. He is so good-natured.
He's very fussy about his drums, you know. They loom large in his legend.
George loved his toast.. sometimes with beans. I don't have beans at the moment but, im having a bacon butty 🥓🍞 delicious
And when Yoko ate his toasts and George was angry.
Toast and tea were the unheralded heroes pf Get Back
“I got a feeling….a feeling for some toast….with jam, oh yeah…”
@@ladyy9085 Those were his biscuits but he was indeed filled with rage.
@@ladyy9085 lol...I think it was his biscuits.. 😂 he fucking flipped out he did...lol..
"ive got a feeeling" *george "ummm ohh no....yeah"
🤣😂👍
0:14 this is probably the cutest and most satisfying thing I’ve ever seen!
Died when it revealed Mike 'playing' the piano
Lol I was wondering who’s Mike
1:09 that move lmao
I love Heather's sly smile. She and John were having a serious conversation about the kittens. Heather had a great dad in Paul (way more loving and involved than many other step-dads), and three amazing Beatle-uncles. They treated her like a person they wanted to hang out with, and not just like a nuisance that they had to put up with. Yoko.
I love how John was arguing with heather for not eating kittens
The eyes on Paul's daughter when she mimiks Yoko.
0:56 i love john's laugh 🥺
0:24 “Oh Noyeah”
Oh noyeah
Loved every moment of this! Many thanks for posting.Throughout the years, the Beatles have had quite a few hilarious moments!
2:32 oww my heart
Paul don't say us goodbye
Watching some of Lennon's antics and his all too frequent lyrical ad libs in this retrospective and I'm thinking, "What a goofball!" Then as it all came together, the lyrics, the music, the spontaneity, and the flawless performance of it all, his musical genius is clear. The antics were an integral part of the creativity!
Not a strong personality like Paul, but a presence that made him and his music indomitable forces in the industry.
The thumbnail picture of him looking backwards into the camera is worth a thousand words. It screams his unspoken leadership, and what it meant to the group in particular, and what he meant to music in general. So sad his untimely death, but the world is a much better place in spite of his albeit too brief lifetime in it.
Keep in perspective 3 things: 1. Paul has always been a workaholic ..2. John was not ..3. This period..which is being recycled now....was not their best...in part because John and George were fed up being a Beatle with Maxwell's Silver Hammer in the driver's seat.
@@JuanLopez-ef5pr
Perhaps not their best, but certainly their most defining. There is more discussion, controversy, and analysis of them and their music on the cusp of, and after their inevitable break up, than any other period of time in their well documented and legendary history.
@@bustabass9025 Lennon played jokes on Beatles fans & our dog's too, myself one of them. I went out & bought "Sgt. Pepper's LHCB" LP when it first came out, got home, dropped the needle on it & well if you were there then at that time, place, & era, hearing that album was crazy. But, on the song "A Day In The Life" the last song on the album, at the end of the song when I heard the gibberish of people it had my dog whining turning in circles, as if my dog was really listening too & had something to say about it. So, blown away by both the LP & my dog I played it again & got the same reaction. Now I started tripping like WTF... until I got hip. Lennon recorded a high-frequency tone like blowing a dog whistle on that part of the song intentionally to play a joke on us all. So, yea John's antics & art came together in the end, sometimes they both stayed & were one! +++++++Peace & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Soul+++++++ "Happy Holidays!"
I agree with you, but John had a personality as strong as Paul, if not more.
“Not a strong personality like Paul”? are you fucking kidding me?! John’s personality was every bit as strong as Paul’s.

Heather's look on her face , i when listening to yoko, is like what the heck???? Classic.
Love this rockumentory watching it for a second time just in case I missed something
RINGO AT THE BEGINNING WITH THE LITTLE GIRL ...SHE HITS THE DRUM ,AND HE IS LIKE ...WTF JUST HAPPENED,NEARLY GAVE ME A HEARTATTACK THERE !😂😂😂, I LOVE THE WAY SUE CRACKS UP 💖🔥💥🙏🙏🙏🙏😁
It would be so delightful for me if The Beatles are the ones who will woke me up from my slumber
Wonderful documentary-film! I loved it!❤
It’s so cute how Ringo and Heather look like they’re dressed alike.
Ketchup and mustard hahaha
1:51 😂 Cat Pie
I love Heather McCartney singing like Yoko. She might be better at it than Yoko
Hahah this is so great! thank you !
Glad you enjoyed it!
Lmao why are Heather and Ringo matching, that’s amazing
1:34 - by the looks off it Linda’s down for some multi-Beatle action.
speak for yourself, dude
Wtf
What's interesting about Linda is she liked John. Paul said he won her over, but "how" is for cable TV 😁😂
It was all in her eyebrows
Can you imagine coming from India with Ringo on the plane?...😂😂😂
Good lord them farts would be horrible
My Bowie attempts usually go wrong ..... so much laughter
they’ve got money, had me geeking when I watched it
now, that man has the right idea. and why not? he would retire happily knowing that his daughter married a beatle. he'd be bringing his mates to the pub w/ a shitload of money and bill it to the beatle.
Heather is just adorable!
Awesome!
This makes me love Ringo most
That kids reaction to yoko is spot on
George falling is sad and funny at the same time
😂 0:29 jajaja y bien serio ese Ringo 😂
0:01 leave them drums alone!🤣
You can’t tell me John wasn’t on some form of LSD through the entire recording session
0:14 😂
So many Beatle moments! I love when they sing 'Two of Us" through there teeth! 🤣❤.. Maybe they are practicing Ventriloquism so when they go on "The Muppets Show"
they can do this song through the Muppet Dolls! 🤔 💡
I have never heard John like that, when he shouted "Yoko!" when he heard Heather, damn! Pure joy. And people keep saying that there was only tension and arguments...
omg Paul and john are so funny Paul literally said, "are you going to put them on toast" then john "You can make cat pie"💀
Paul just walks away lol
1:44 Sounds like some German they picked up in Hamburg....
John and Paul are so funny
Paul is such a. Good dad 😭
John's humor clearly didn't leave the 1960s. He spent the 1970s as the most humorless in pop music.
Sad but true. It was so touching to see him really laugh in these little snippets. Like here 0:58

The rooftop concert was great and all, but was it worth denying granny of her sleep? :P

Heather is adorable!
I clicked on this video without paying much attention, but when I saw Lennon jumping with his shirt over his legs I immediantly swaped my attention and watched the whole video

Yoko, the screaming banshee!
The kid being freaked out by Yoko is the best moment. At leas someone was keeping it real in regards to Yoko. That's how we all feel about her.
Yes, thank you Heather.👏👏👏👏
no... she loves yoko. yoko is awesome. i actually like her music. and i do think the world owes her an apology. if anything, the person we really should've been angry at is allen klein since he would rip off john, george, and ringo after the beatles broke up as paul knew klein was up to no good and mick jagger warned them.
Yoko's voice is fingernails on a chalkboard.

That kid is a little cutie
If these were the Beatles in a state of tension (Yoko kinda making John put the band to the side), imagine then during the Rubber Soul or White Album sessions
When you watch the movie "A Hard Day's Night", you get an idea of how much fun they really had.
