I really believe people need to watch 99 from last year and compare to even 2 years prior. he really looked like he had given up on the game. Yes he was getting double teamed and triple teamed, but he was every year and last just looked like he didnt care enough to get through. i truly believe the addition of fiske and verse will make the line better than it was last year and with the further additions in the secondary I believe the rams will have a stronger defense and should be in consideration for super bowl likely teams.
I totally agree with you. I had been saying this same thing. I really don't think we will see much drop off from the defense.
@@majourpayne Considering we also got rid of our defensive coordinator as well its possible we may end up with a better defense and not have to be in shell coverage every defensive snap outside of our own redzone.

5:14 kinda funny that they're saying this about someone who didn't even lead the team in double team and triple team rate. Everyone I've talked to about this always uses this same argument without knowing the facts.
Rams will always be a playoff team by default with McVay as their head coach. I truly believe it. Now, I consider this offseason a success and the team to have seriously upgraded overall. I could see them winning the NFC West and surpassing everyone with a 12-5/11-6 record. Go Rams🐏

I love the fact Seattle and the Rams split. I've always been of the opinion that the San Francisco 49ers/Seahawks rivalry is overblown. One team is good and often whacks the other. The real rivalry is with the Rams even though that rivalry seems to only be on the field. You look at those two organizations history since realignment and there's some major matchups and upsets there.
I am of the belief home field advantage matters usually for any seahawks matchup except this one regardless of the year they play. A lot of fun games over the years.
If our top 2 draft picks work out as well as Kobie and Byron, I love the potential of our defense. And defense is really our only question mark

And what is your rationale for them to go down two wins from last year? Schedule was way harder last year including playing 5 teams coming off their buy week. Oline has gotten better. They have added another dynmaic runner to share the load with Kyren. Kupp is finally fully heallthy. Their DBs are highly improved. They added multiple threats to their Dline to help offset Aaron Donald loss (which as someone else stated, he was double and tripled team at a lower rate than Kobie Turner last year).
