Hey guys, at the beginning of COVID I decided to start following Lazio in the offseason. I studied abroad in Rome back in '07/'08 and was living in a Lazio neighborhood for that year. Despite Roma being the much higher profile club at the time, being surrounded by Laziali left a lasting impact on my memory of the city and Roman culture. Do you guys think you'll ever be able to do a pod covering the team's cultural geography -- specifically which neighborhoods are Lazio's and break down a little bit of the backstory? Since following the team 2 years ago, I've been really interested in knowing more about how the teams ascent has changed the culture of the city. When I was living there Totti and de Rossi were gods, I wonder if Immobile will ever be able to reach their status. This episode on the potential of a new stadium I think kind of touches on these issues. Keep up the great work!

i hope lotito is serious about making this the home of ss lazio. not only the location but the history of lazio with the stadium that is already attached.
Flaminio would be the best place for the new Lazio stadium. The municipality can't leave this place like this, abandoned as it is, in the center of the city. If Lotito has the authorization to build our new stadium here, it must be done. I've been there two years and a half ago, and I'm sure that there's enough place to build a stadium like Stamford Bridge, which is in the center of London and surrounded by buildings.
Parc des Princes in Paris, where I live, is also surrounded by buildings, but PSG has a 48 000 seats arena and are planning to upgrade it to 60 000 seats. There's enough place around Flaminio to build a 45 000 arena for Lazio.
