My definition of success is being debt free, at least 3 months ahead in bills, 6plus months of living expenses emergency fund, extra monies for sinking funds, healthy kids and the ability to pay for health issues, serving in the church, blessing others financially, the list goes on lol your video was great! I’d consider myself successful as long as my family is thriving in all aspects of their lives. I want to be comfortable with my finances and to be able to provide my grands what they need. Awesome cash stuffing. Enjoy your vacation❤❤❤
As long as my girls have all their needs met and some wants that's success...happy healthy and thriving in life success...overcoming some serious crap and holding my head high is success...raising my girls to be strong women will be my biggest success! Awesome video as always!!! Rock on!!
I do the same with vacation. We are going on a cruise the first week of October and I have a ton budgeted. I hope it's way too much but I would rather be over-prepared than under-prepared. Have a great time!!

Easier said than done, but none-the-less, that's what I feel success is at 53 years of age. lol In my younger years, I would have said, having money, nice car, nice home etc. Perspectives change. That's right...add $$ to that vacation envelope!! So happy you got to catch up on Christmas!
I am not a cash budgeter but I did get paid today so moved all my money around to its respective homes. For me since its a 3 pay check month I am stuffing less to bills each check so more for sinking funds. I also gave myself 100 extra for spending!
So fun! Vaca & new adventures are high on our priority list with our kids & parents. Our goal every year is to take them somewhere new. This year NOLA airboat tour on our way to a destination wedding in Destin. Next year will be southern UT & northern AZ. Soooooo excited!!!

I’m so full of comments but I forget if I comment at the end. Insurance omg it’s a killer. We pay approx $500 for my husband myself, my 17 year old son and we did recently get a new car so my son got his dad old car so that made insurance jump. Of course we pay it but ouch!
So thankful to hear your Husband (and Family) are doing better. You work so hard and do such a great job saving, just curious, why did you chose not to pay yourself back for the money you removed from the Envelops used to cover the Medical Bills (after you cashed out 1 of your 401K accounts)?

I missed a paycheck in stuffing for birthdays awhile back and had to recoup the loss by making a new amount to stuff. My birthday just passed in April, so I was able to start over from fresh, from zero, and calculate my goal amount divided by the amount of paychecks between April-April, and it only requires $15 each paycheck to reach the goal. Same goal amounts, just more paychecks for me to stuff for mine, than I have left to stuff for his. Once he has his birthday in December, and we start back at zero, his will be back to $15 too. 💜

I only use cash at out of town gas stations too, I know how much my car uses and try to keep it full
