art classes are so useless, I left them after 6 months because I wasn't learning anything at all. Way better to learn from internet with those amazing artists around there.
@@TheArnau13 Well that is sorta offensive- but it sort of depends- like if you like the art class you might improve you know? Depends if you like it or not. Ive been self taught and i think thats the best way to learn your skills because youre free✨ yknow like you dont have to draw stuff you dont like
@@paxter3034 If you’re a hobbyist, free is typically a good route to go! If you strive to make a living out of art though, more educational and not as pleasant "tasks" are going to have to be practiced and you won’t always be drawing what you like. Art classes aren’t all useless, but you can still surely learn a lot regardless of if you’re aiming for professionalism or not^
@@paxter3034 well i guess it really does depend, yeah. I dislike my old art class but it did teach me how to draw better animal proportions and anatomy, barely anything else though. But in my new art class, i've learnt a ton of things! plus the teachers arent so bad. so imo it depends on the quality of the class.

I remember being fascinated with people sketching for I am an artist myself, so I was really excited when I saw one of my classmates drawing something on his sketchpad, I went beside him to see but then he just covered it up and he looked so uncomfortable with me- I didn't mean to overstep a boundary so I felt kinda bad. That's one of the reasons that contributed with me suppressing my extrovert attitude, it may irritate or annoy other people. From there on I will never overstep ones boundary by being too excited or friendly, I instead will remain calm and observe from far away and mind my own business. Too bad I wasn't able to make friends with the guy. This video reminded me of that moment but instead I am free to just observe and learn without offending anyone.
I also really dislike it when people try to look at my sketches, but that’s only without permission. Maybe you should ask first, especially if they don’t really know you that well. But I appreciate that you didn’t try to push it :)
