One thing I would add to a dryer not drying well... IF you use dryer sheets or a whole capful of fabric softener with every load, then you need to take the lint filter to the sink. If water pools up on the surface then your hot moist air will struggle to go through the machine. Scrub it with an old toothbrush or a nylon bottle brush until the water flows through. I've seen water pool inside of the dryer vent lines and after checking the outside vent my second go to is the lint screen. 9/10 times a lack of maintenance causes failure. Thanks for sharing Rich.
