I love strawberries made this way, but I was using 18% cream. I never thought of using evaporated milk, I will now. Oh, the only thing that I do differently is I coat the strawberries in sugar and let them sit in the fridge for about an hour first. That way the sugar permeates the strawberries and makes them softer and very delicious.

evaporated milk does have sugar and its carb so it turns to sugar especially if you eat it with strawberries and sugar and don't exercise !! this is not a recipe ....

This looks very good. My Momma used to slice up bananas in a bowl, add a little sugar and then milk. We would have a bowl of it for a snack before bed! It was delicious! Thanks for sharing this!

Yessss I have some leftover evaporated milk from a recipe and couldn’t for the life of me figure out what to use it for. I think I found my breakfast in the morning. Hope it’s a little easy on my diet. 😊
This reminds me of Fresas en Creama a Mexican dessert it's all if the ingredients but we add a can of condensed milk and you can add a strawberry jello to it
