- Love him or hate him, Howard Stern has certainly left a mark in the world of radio broadcasting. Back in 1985 when he started working for WXRK radio in New York City, he began a 20-year run with a hit radio show that aired in 60 markets and attracted 20 million listeners at its peak.
The self-described “King Of All Media” also moved into airing his radio broadcast on TV through the E! channel, left terrestrial radio behind for Sirius/XM satellite radio in 2006 and has also been a successful author and judge on America’s Got Talent.
It’s quite an impressive and unique career but despite all his success, Stern has been through heartache and loss over the years. Let's look into the tragedy of Howard Stern.

I can remember I used to listen to Howard as I'd drive to work. I stopped for a while when he said something and I laughed so hard I almost crashed my car on the Brooklyn Bridge. After a while I grew out of him. Especially when he interviewed women it seemed like the same bit over and over again. He used to complain about Imus doing the same bit repeatedly, as Howard did the same interview for the umpteenth time. Although I don't listen to his show anymore every once in a while I'll still hear about his saying something funny and insightful.

I stopped listening to Howard Stern years ago when he made fun of Dan Jansen falling during his quest for gold during the Olympic games. For those of you that never heard about this, on February 14, the day of the race, he learned that his 27-year-old sister Jane, who had been instrumental in his speed skating career, had died of leukemia. Jansen's family encouraged him to continue with his plan to compete later that day. However, seconds into the race, Jansen slipped and fell. Howard Stern thought this was hilarious and kept calling Dan a loser. How sad indeed. Howard has made $650 million dollars making fun of people his entire career, outside of this post, I will not give him another second of my time. The man is full of negative energy and hate and that is very sad indeed.
And you know what's funny? If somebody make fun of Howard Stern he rants and cry like a little kid

Truly tragic - wealth beyond his wildest dreams, married to a gorgeous model, 3 healthy and happy children, volunteers and saves hundreds of animals lives, his parents were married for 70 years and were both still alive until his Father passed recently - some OCD to deal with - redefined an entire industry - hm. Tragic - I wish my life was so tragic

Stern hasn’t been relevant since 2010 after Artie left. Of the dozen or so people I knew that had a Sirius subscriptions from ‘06 no longer had them by 2015!
