The nuts may of been from a previous bridge. If it was an old iron bridge they may of simply dropped the nuts in the river as the old bridge was disassembled
I don't know if it's because those guns were sitting in mud but they look pretty recently thrown out there. Those nuts probably made up for the weight. Cool finds out there.
Well, not until this heat wave is gone for good. Now Texas is hellish for real. I don't want you to get a heatstroke. Also, I am pretty sure there have to be plenty of guns around here.
I like the knots. Gives me a few spots on the rope I can really grip down and pull hard or take a break. They do get stuck in the bridge gaps sometimes, but you just learn to work with it
@blakecantswim Ok I was confused by what happened. I thought maybe I got booted for some reason. I am glad I went back an hour or so later and got to see it. Always amazed at the stuff you all pull out of the waterways.
After multiple bad encounters with law enforcement we just call them in or drop them off. We don't call them to come out to us anymore for our own safety. The police are not our friends
