eh that's mostly to do with the fact the majority of vtuber fans are straight men of which half of them will find it weird simping for a guy (for no reason) and the other half are totally on board. It doesn't help Hololive likes to downplay their male talents a ton which when they're that influential it takes a toll on how people view male vtubers. It's one of the reasons I prefer nijisanji so much, since nijisanji doesn't care in slightest: male, female, anything else? You're welcome long as you don't break the light rules which is much healthier imo
