    I enjoyed your flosstube. That wall of floss behind you is to die for. Absolutely loved your Mill Hill village. I love Mill Hill and currently am collecting all the Santa Ornaments. Your village is very tempting. May have to join in something similar. We have allot in common as far as what we like to stitch. I like to do all kinds of stuff but not big in the reproduction samplers. I like newer sampler but not crazy about putting someone’s name on my sampler that I never knew, and I feel guilty putting someone else’s name in them. LOL.

    • @luckychancestitcher
      @luckychancestitcher  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much! I have a collection on mill hill Santa's also! Mill hill kits are so cute and stitch up quickly. Yes, reproduction samplers seem to be what is popular right now. I think they are beautiful but they just don't call to me as far as something I would like to stitch.🤷‍♀️ Thanks again for watching and Merry Christmas!

    I watched your TH-cam video with your Mill Hill village. I just gasped; it is so beautiful! I plan to do mine the same. Can you please tell me what type of fabric you are working on, and what count you are using? Are you planning to put all 24 houses on the same fabric or are you splitting it up? I love your floss-tubes. Thank you very much.
    Best regards;
    Elizabeth

      Thanks! I'm stitching it on 28 count stormy grey jobelan from witchelt. I'm planning on stitching all of them on the same fabric. There are currently 25 houses. If you buy a yard, you will have enough to stitch all 25 and probably 7 or 8 more. Good luck with the project!🤗

    Wow such an ambitious piece to start with, you could possibly frog the little bit of the next bear’s foot and call the piece finished

  • @shimmerysparkles123
    @shimmerysparkles123 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Glad you uploaded again. You mentioned that you didn't feel you have enuff finishes or something similar... and that does not matter. Floss tube videos don't have to have any finishes. As long as you talk about stitching in any form, you qualify for floss tube... you could just show floss or patterns, etc. so i just wanted to mention that, there's no pressure for any reason. And contrary to rumor, there's no cross stitch police :0 so if you want to stitch your patterns in half stitch, you won't be cheating :p. That's sorta a sarcastic dig based on a real forum argument...
    Anyway, I'm glad you're back and hope your family/ friends/ dear ones/ get better. Many of us are dealing with new or existing health issues. (I'm positive I've aged faster during the pandemic. So i get it.)
    I also get the math issues you referred to. The whispering made me giggle.
    Happy stitching 😊

      Thanks for watching! I guess my meaning was I wasn't really stitching a lot this year so, at times, I didn't really even have progress on my wips to talk about. Hopefully, 2022 will be an easier year for everyone!🙏

    Loved your flosstube! My favorite WIP of yours is the Christmas village. I cannot even imagine that much stitching. I do not like to do large pieces because of how long they take me. I am a monogamous stitcher so years ago when I did larger projects, one would take me 1-5 years to complete because I am a slow stitcher.

    WIPGO *CAN* be played the way you were playing, by keeping going on that project until you finish that goal. You can even complete a goal early, before it is called. You just can't mark off that square as done until that square has been called. I would encourage you to try again.....it's your board, do it however you want. The goals on the board are YEARLY goals, not monthly goals, and you can start and finish them any time during the year.

    I had a dimensions kit that called for 4-6 strands, and after fighting a section for a day, anything over 4 strands I automatically halved. So 4 became 2, 5 & 6 became 3.
    Does it have the depth? 🤷‍♀️ It's still gorgeous. But it sure saved my sanity.

    • @luckychancestitcher
      @luckychancestitcher  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The stitch counts of all the houses are the same. I worked out the layout on a large piece of craft cardboard which included the dimensions of the houses, the spacing in between and the border. Then I try to align the rooftops. The bottoms of the patterns sometimes have extra things in them so that is why I use the rooftops to gage the spacing. I can explain it in my next flosstube.

      Hi Bonnie, thanks for watching! I'm not sure what I will do with it. I may cut out the heads of the two bears and make it into a pillow. I will be restarting though. My OCD brain can't handle that it will be 4 inches bigger that the other stockings!😂😂

    Hi Amanda! So nice to “see” you again. I loved seeing all of your WIPs! So many stockings! Yay! Your Mill Hill village is amazing. It makes me want to try something similar. I’ve never given up on a WIP before either but I have a temperature chart I started earlier this year on a whim because I’ve always wanted to do one but I’m just not enjoying stitching it so I may give myself permission to let it go. I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. Sending positive thoughts and good vibes her way. 💐🙏🏻 Take care! Talk to you soon. 😄

    Thank you for your video. I was looking for WIP parades and you came up. I am new to your channel, but enjoyed it very much. That Mill Hill Christmas Village is to die for! Stunning. I will really enjoy your progress on that. The fabric you chose for the Wind Mokn Fairy is perfect. I don't stitch that type, so I really enjoy seeing them stitched by someone else. You need to finish that kitty quilt for your daughter, it is adorable. I'm glad that the health issues in your family have settled down. Take care and happy stitching!

    Welcome back so happy to see that all is well with you. I enjoyed seeing your finishes. It was like being at a retreat seeing such a variety of beautiful stitching.i love Lavender and Lace and Norah Corbett too. My walls are full of Fancy ladies . I was pleased to see that you stitched Santa of the Forest. He is still my favorite of all the stitching projects I have done. I ythink is because of his serenity and sweetness in his face. I will keep your mom in my prayers. I still use your framing tutorial . Merry Christmas from your fan in Michigan.

      Hi Ashley! I actually watch your channel to! Love the dolphin project you just started. Yeah, I really like to start things but my brain tends stress when I have too many things on the go. I like the idea of rewarding myself with a start. Also, that also leaves me with projects that are at various stages so I consistently have something that is close to a finish. Good luck with WIPGO!🤗
