- Talk's Kevin O'Sullivan is joined by US commentator Kinsey Schofield, who says Donald Trump was a "hero" in his immediate response to the shooting.
The FBI said on Monday it has gained access to the phone of the Thomas Matthew Crooks, the suspect in the shooting of former President Donald Trump, as it continues to investigate his motive for the crime.
The FBI stressed that its investigation into Saturday's shooting, which is being treated as both an assassination attempt and potential domestic terrorism, is still in its early stages.
"FBI technical specialists successfully gained access to Thomas Matthew Crooks’ phone, and they continue to analyze his electronic devices," the FBI said in a statement.

why did a guy be able to park his car, walk with a full length rifle in broad daylight, erect a ladder, gain access to a roof 140 yards away from where Trump was speaking, ... be in the crosshairs, ( literally) of 2 police snipers, at the same time people were shouting that there was a guy with a rifle on the roof of that building and a regular cop, ascending the ladder and being threatened by the guy on the roof with the rifle but not realy taking much action????
