V8 Supercar driver Craig Lowndes is looking strong leading into Yas V8 400

Three-times V8 Supercar Champion - TeamVodafone's Craig Lowndes has not only topped the time sheets at this weekend's pre season V8 Supercars test, he posted the fastest ever V8 Supercar lap recorded at Eastern Creek Raceway. Saturday's test will be the first and last time that the V8 Supercar drivers get to test out their 2011 cars, before opening the season here at Yas Marina Circuit on February 11-12 (more details of driver tests visit www.v8supercars.com.au).
Lowndes, and team-mate Jamie Whincup, had a great run in Abu Dhabi last year with a one-two finish during the first race, Lowndes clearly looking forward to returning to Yas to once again dominate the weekend.
