Bravo bother!! A very good season of coverage and interaction. I think some of us who simply believe Leao is elite, not world class- yet; get a little frustrated when other pundits and maybe other content creators always look for the opening to smush pulisic and let Leao escape despite what you have properly illuminated today. So I think it’s less about you and more about other sources. I think Milan’s biggest question should be how can we find a 6 to complement RLC bc pulisic has to be our 10 going forward so we can play chucky and Leao at the same time. And Ruben is not I repeat not a CREATIVE attacking midfielder. Hes a box to box beast who works tirelessly and makes Late runs and finishes chances. That’s terrific but he’s one of the most indiscisive players out there which is the opposite of pulisc. But I still think he needs to be starting just in a slightly less trequarista role.
If mbappe goes to RM, i could definitely see PSG going for Leao. 120m for him, and that gives them a massive purse to fill the open striker, rb, cdm, and cb position. They could move pulisic left or go after another LW and keep pulisic at CAM. Of course a new coach might want to go 4-3-3 and that would definitely benefit what the team has now. Imagine.

They just offer different things, in terms of playmaking Pulisic is better but RLC´s off ball movement (not only for headers) shouldn't be underestimated. It is not as flashy but also effective. Imo RLC should stay CAM or SS, we have 5 main players for the 3 positions behind the striker (Leao, Okafor, RLC, Pulisic, Chuck), that is no luxury anyway.

Puli was putting in so much effort also off the ball trying to link up and support his teammates in possession and when he got the ball he was dangerous and overall very active. I guess it depends on the team and the defensive role and responsibilities for who should be playing that position but I think chuck earned more time on the right and puli more opportunities in the middle and it just didn’t really happen.
He’s problem is when you give him a red box a lot of time you soften it and give him excuses etc. it’s not just about boxes. id let rafa go before his career starts either stagnating (arguably is nowadays) or declining. for him to improve and thrive he needs 1 or more bigger personalities around him. someone who commands respect and a player he can learn off. we cant have that any time soon. ive noticed this in portugal. he played a horrid qualifier against bosnia. its a superstar filled team, he probably got a tonguelashing from a teammate. few days later, he puts in a stellar performance against iceland even though he didnt directly contribute. perhaps they showed him something we dont have that and he knows it. sometimes it even feels like he holds us hostage with his attitude. its like "hey, watch me. i can do whatever here and there wont be consequences since im the best player". that newcastle home game smells of that so much he likes the city a lot since hes into fashion and he knows he has the spotlight when it comes to football and imho thats the only reason why he hasnt handed in a transfer request as early as the ending of last season

Great video as always! And not sure why fans agenda on your take of Leao is important anyways and really do not think it is worth your time defending. Most likely similar comments will come back next season (unless Leao is gone). They will then look for another target. Coach wise, I have no expectations. You know they won’t go for high profile and I do not have issue with that. Sacchi, Capello and Allegri (even Ancelotti to some extent as a runner-up coach) were either no-one or small name when they were hired. I'm actually happy the management listened to the fans. We need either a big title winning coach or a young forward thinker who has a lot of potential. Lopetegui isn't either. He's average. How does it make sense to bash the management when they don't listen to the fans but also bash them when they do? I think the management feel as if they don't have a lot of wiggle room with the fans after sacking Maldini and keeping Pioli this long. They can't keep getting away with it so they have to get this one right.
We also shouldn't make Leao bigger than he is, for one Mbappe you can have a whole XI of Leao´s in terms of cost. It is fair to ask a lot of him, but he is not a global top 5, probably not even top 10 player. At the same time Leao has been getting a tailor made position under Pioli with few defensive responsibilities and enough offensive liberties to not get pinned down by default, he likely won't get that at a bigger club and it is doubtful that future coaches will be quick to trust him that much. So the criticism is definitely fair.

I've said the same. If you start rafa and chucky then you're defense will struggle. And both play the same. Takes you on but will lose the ball alot. But at least chucky will go back and defend.
Chuck and Leão often lose the ball. You can't have that on both sides of the field. If you do you are eventually going to get burned on the counterattack, especially if both wingers don't play much defense. Pulisic is more conservative on the ball until the game opens up in the 60 min.
I really wish we got more minutes of leao pulisic chukwueze behind ohkafor as the striker especially if giroud is leaving and we have already lost out on the title let us see more looks of what our attack could be next year especially since I hope we spend our money mainly on a cdm 6 and a centerback
I agree with your view of Leão. The difficulty in commenting or evaluating Leão is there is no doubt that he is the most gifted footballer on ACM. That said, he does not consistently play up to his abilities. In some games, he'll be poor for 75% of the game and then great for 25%. Is the 25% good enough? In other games he is on and then games like last night he doesn't show up. I don't think you want him as your best player. Put him on RM where there are other players to kick his ass and hold him accountable I think you would see a much better Leão who maximizes his abilities. Who on ACM can challenge him? If you are going to keep him you need a manager like Conte, Guardiola, Klopp, etc. who have the gravitas to bench him or just get on him. Lastly, the defense for ACM has been the issue all year. You should be able to win games scoring 2 or 3 goals.
My favorite footballers ALL had had the desire to win NO MATTER WHAT, Zuzu. I think that we are close but need meat on the bones. We need to do 4-2-3-1 formations next year. First, I get the best coach available. Second, sign a top-tier striker in their prime to replace Giroud. Keep Leao On the left, Chuck on the right (but he needs to work on not turning the ball over so much), and Pulisic in The middle. Third, Totally revamp our defense with at least 2-3 new signings.
As you say Leao at 24 yo needs to grow. He is truly a talent but needs to grow. We have seen this before many times with many players. One of the attributes I would hope for is the drive to win and sacrifice to win outweighs needing to be the star always. Leao is at risk of becoming a "prima donna". However, at 24 yo, there is much growth ahead of him. At the same time I do not blame all of Milans woes on Rafa. The defense although not the strongest seems to have many mental lapses and give away goals for no good reason. Perhaps a more cohesive overall game strategy would help. Giroud is the closest thing to being able to be a team leader and could be stronger and more vocal in this role. His departure to MLS next season will leave a big gap to fill. Pulisic got off to a great start but wasnt able to maintain this consistent performance through the season. I think managing the personalities and cohesiveness on the field was one issue. Another seems to be the keepers studied his in close shooting and were able to adjust. Perhaps a few more offensive tricks would help. He scored a golazo from outside the box midway but then had a few near misses after. When all is said and done #2 in the league is very respectable. Just left thinking a few tweaks and Champions League, Europa League, and Inter Milan were not too far out of reach. It takes a very special team and coach to become champions. In the end I think we could have done better.
It's time for Milan management to make quick decision on coach next season. Leao must step up irrespective of who's managing the team. Pioli has few games left, we should look ahead positively. Let's hope for revolution. I would prefer Conceicao ahead of Fonseca but both are really good profiles. Forza Milan.

I rather go for Fonseca. He's a top coach and stylistically works well. Conceiçao is a Mendes client so I am going to be extremely cautious about him. On top of that he plays a 442 which would require a lot more changes in the squad.
Milan needs a real leader even if only for one season. I suggest getting Tim Ream from Fulham for a one ir 2 year deal. There is no true leader on this team and I believe Ream's experience at the top level of the game as well as dealing with the hardships of relegation will bring in a level of mental stability for our back line and team in general. What do you think Kush? We have a bunch of CBs but they are either always injured or suspended. Ream would be a good back up or sporadic starter who could bring the locker room together in a positive direction
Leao’s passion is obviously not football. He does music, and pursues other passions that he actually loves. I think it wouldn’t be bad if he left. Okafor is actually a viable and maybe even better replacement. He also doesn’t show up in big games.

Man do you know for sure that Milan wanted to hire Lopetegue or you're just relying on gossips? I don't think you are fair to management, they did really good job at Milan, we are 2nd in the league and qualified for Cheampions League. Why Maldini was sacked? because he failed to qualify for cheampions league with the Champion team. I know you know and everybody else know that we were lucky with Juve's situation the last season, so don't give Maldini any credit. Milan last year made attack minded purchases so I expect De Zerbi or Concecao on the bench I don't think they gonna hire T.Motta and personally I wouldn't do that too. We can't hire a coach based on his one successfull season. I think ideal coach for this squad is De Zerbi and he can bring some style to the team but I think management will end up signing Conceicao. I think he ticks all the boxes he has coached grand, his teams has very aggressive attacking style, he is proven winner(won 3 times with Porto championship), his team performs really well in cheampions league, and he is good working with limited resources, for example, look what he did this season with Porto! they were fighting neck to neck with Arsenal. If I evaluate managements work for this season I would give them 8 out of 10 rating it looks like we gonna end up at second place compared to 5th last season, our team looks way stronger than it was year ago, all the purchases proved to be a good signings, we loaded off a big problematic player for $70m. The only thing which made my rating go to 8 from 10 is that they were not brave enough to fire Pioli together with Maldini and Massara. Probably they were worried that they gonna lose point of contact with the team that is why I think they hired Zlatan to be a bridge between management and team.

Okafor is that starting striker that Milan needs because he also plays as a creative center forward. He’s young, hungry, and has really good vision on the pitch, always scans the field for his teammates. Count how many times he gets subbed in and easily shifts the game to Milan’s side 2/3 times. That’s pretty exceptional from the Swiss talent.
Why striker though, he seems much better suited for winger or SS, even CAM. When he started as striker he had problems to express himself, imo he is much better if he doesn't need to play with his back to the goal a lot. As main striker we need someone who is comfortable getting pinned down in duels with CBs etc.

Coach wise, I have no expectations. You know they won’t go for high profile and I do not have issue with that. Sacchi, Capello and Allegri (even Ancelotti to some extent as a runner-up coach) were either no-one or small name when they were hired. I don’t blame hiring (really because AC Milan was actually known for hiring no names), I am more of a person who blames the club for late sacking when the coach is clearly mis-using potential players and not getting the right results!

I'm actually happy the management listened to the fans. We need either a big title winning coach or a young forward thinker who has a lot of potential. Lopetegui isn't either. He's average.
How does it make sense to bash the management when they don't listen to the fans but also bash them when they do?
I think the management feel as if they don't have a lot of wiggle room with the fans after sacking Maldini and keeping Pioli this long. They can't keep getting away with it so they have to get this one right.
We also shouldn't make Leao bigger than he is, for one Mbappe you can have a whole XI of Leao´s in terms of cost. It is fair to ask a lot of him, but he is not a global top 5, probably not even top 10 player.
At the same time Leao has been getting a tailor made position under Pioli with few defensive responsibilities and enough offensive liberties to not get pinned down by default, he likely won't get that at a bigger club and it is doubtful that future coaches will be quick to trust him that much. So the criticism is definitely fair.
I really want motta or de zerbi.but reports say coincecao wants milan and actually he could be a very good alternative.He has won 9 titles with porto in 7 years and are a pretty modern coach.Sure its portuguese league but he also done well in ucl and took porto out from the group multiple times.He knocked juventus out some years ago,challenged Arsenal this year and inter last year.Very good in defense and offensive with very good press.He plays good football and has that winning mentality.Also he plays 4-2-3-1/4-4-2 so could fit milan to.Also it would be interesting i a portuguese coach would be coaching one of the most talented portuguese players rn maybe he could get the better of leao.He is also good with both young and more experinced players.
A disciplinarian could also break Leao though, from what I read about him Leao will probably not get the current freedom under him. Maybe Leao would end up as SS in his 4-2-2-2 should he not cut it as a winger under him. I have a hunch that Pulisic would be his fave.

I've said the same. If you start rafa and chucky then you're defense will struggle. And both play the same. Takes you on but will lose the ball alot. But at least chucky will go back and defend.
Chuck and Leão often lose the ball. You can't have that on both sides of the field. If you do you are eventually going to get burned on the counterattack, especially if both wingers don't play much defense. Pulisic is more conservative on the ball until the game opens up in the 60 min.
I really wish we got more minutes of leao pulisic chukwueze behind ohkafor as the striker especially if giroud is leaving and we have already lost out on the title let us see more looks of what our attack could be next year especially since I hope we spend our money mainly on a cdm 6 and a centerback
I agree with your view of Leão. The difficulty in commenting or evaluating Leão is there is no doubt that he is the most gifted footballer on ACM. That said, he does not consistently play up to his abilities. In some games, he'll be poor for 75% of the game and then great for 25%. Is the 25% good enough? In other games he is on and then games like last night he doesn't show up. I don't think you want him as your best player. Put him on RM where there are other players to kick his ass and hold him accountable I think you would see a much better Leão who maximizes his abilities. Who on ACM can challenge him? If you are going to keep him you need a manager like Conte, Guardiola, Klopp, etc. who have the gravitas to bench him or just get on him. Lastly, the defense for ACM has been the issue all year. You should be able to win games scoring 2 or 3 goals.
My favorite footballers ALL had had the desire to win NO MATTER WHAT, Zuzu. I think that we are close but need meat on the bones. We need to do 4-2-3-1 formations next year. First, I get the best coach available. Second, sign a top-tier striker in their prime to replace Giroud. Keep Leao On the left, Chuck on the right (but he needs to work on not turning the ball over so much), and Pulisic in The middle. Third, Totally revamp our defense with at least 2-3 new signings.

As you say Leao at 24 yo needs to grow. He is truly a talent but needs to grow. We have seen this before many times with many players. One of the attributes I would hope for is the drive to win and sacrifice to win outweighs needing to be the star always. Leao is at risk of becoming a "prima donna". However, at 24 yo, there is much growth ahead of him. At the same time I do not blame all of Milans woes on Rafa. The defense although not the strongest seems to have many mental lapses and give away goals for no good reason. Perhaps a more cohesive overall game strategy would help. Giroud is the closest thing to being able to be a team leader and could be stronger and more vocal in this role. His departure to MLS next season will leave a big gap to fill. Pulisic got off to a great start but wasnt able to maintain this consistent performance through the season. I think managing the personalities and cohesiveness on the field was one issue. Another seems to be the keepers studied his in close shooting and were able to adjust. Perhaps a few more offensive tricks would help. He scored a golazo from outside the box midway but then had a few near misses after. When all is said and done #2 in the league is very respectable. Just left thinking a few tweaks and Champions League, Europa League, and Inter Milan were not too far out of reach. It takes a very special team and coach to become champions. In the end I think we could have done better.
It's time for Milan management to make quick decision on coach next season. Leao must step up irrespective of who's managing the team. Pioli has few games left, we should look ahead positively. Let's hope for revolution. I would prefer Conceicao ahead of Fonseca but both are really good profiles. Forza Milan.

I rather go for Fonseca. He's a top coach and stylistically works well. Conceiçao is a Mendes client so I am going to be extremely cautious about him. On top of that he plays a 442 which would require a lot more changes in the squad.
Milan needs a real leader even if only for one season. I suggest getting Tim Ream from Fulham for a one ir 2 year deal. There is no true leader on this team and I believe Ream's experience at the top level of the game as well as dealing with the hardships of relegation will bring in a level of mental stability for our back line and team in general.
What do you think Kush? We have a bunch of CBs but they are either always injured or suspended. Ream would be a good back up or sporadic starter who could bring the locker room together in a positive direction

I agree, last season it was 4th and that's because of juventus losing points. So 4th to 2nd is a step up. Yes the semi in the CL is what made it better. But obviously milan shouldn't be happy with just 2nd place.

Man do you know for sure that Milan wanted to hire Lopetegue or you're just relying on gossips? I don't think you are fair to management, they did really good job at Milan, we are 2nd in the league and qualified for Cheampions League. Why Maldini was sacked? because he failed to qualify for cheampions league with the Champion team. I know you know and everybody else know that we were lucky with Juve's situation the last season, so don't give Maldini any credit. Milan last year made attack minded purchases so I expect De Zerbi or Concecao on the bench I don't think they gonna hire T.Motta and personally I wouldn't do that too. We can't hire a coach based on his one successfull season. I think ideal coach for this squad is De Zerbi and he can bring some style to the team but I think management will end up signing Conceicao. I think he ticks all the boxes he has coached grand, his teams has very aggressive attacking style, he is proven winner(won 3 times with Porto championship), his team performs really well in cheampions league, and he is good working with limited resources, for example, look what he did this season with Porto! they were fighting neck to neck with Arsenal. If I evaluate managements work for this season I would give them 8 out of 10 rating it looks like we gonna end up at second place compared to 5th last season, our team looks way stronger than it was year ago, all the purchases proved to be a good signings, we loaded off a big problematic player for $70m. The only thing which made my rating go to 8 from 10 is that they were not brave enough to fire Pioli together with Maldini and Massara. Probably they were worried that they gonna lose point of contact with the team that is why I think they hired Zlatan to be a bridge between management and team.

Okafor is that starting striker that Milan needs because he also plays as a creative center forward. He’s young, hungry, and has really good vision on the pitch, always scans the field for his teammates. Count how many times he gets subbed in and easily shifts the game to Milan’s side 2/3 times. That’s pretty exceptional from the Swiss talent.
Why striker though, he seems much better suited for winger or SS, even CAM. When he started as striker he had problems to express himself, imo he is much better if he doesn't need to play with his back to the goal a lot. As main striker we need someone who is comfortable getting pinned down in duels with CBs etc.
