Dev here: Nice job man! Adapted to the game's mechanics really fast.
People watching: FYI this is just the intro/tutorial sequence, it only scratches the surface! There's loads more ways to play than just sitting in the center as a turret.
The game looks really fun and creative! I love how the different weapon type combinations create brand new weapons, seems like a super engaging mechanic. Good job making a cool game :3
well u got an extra costumer today i liked the demo so much i bought the game ty sir for making a demo
The wiggling broadbeam is clearly the ultimate in goofy defense weapons technology. This game also has an absolute jam as BGM.
Assuming the warning at the end of the video on the title screen... Probably just some non-copyright music.
Was anyone else yelling at their monitor when Tom was not locking the upgrades he couldn't afford but wanted so bad?
same
No. I just expect and accept it by now
The Yogscast Guarantee!
Classic Tom move 😂
It's how TH-camrs I watch advertise games. They don't do something painfully obvious so I buy the game to do it myself. Ingenious marketing really
I really appreciate that Tom so consistently puts out content, and that none of it feels like low effort filler. I've found some of my favourite games of recent years through this channel (I have tooooo many hours in Peglin) and now he puts out Mystery Quest too. Man's a machine that runs on cider and weak lemony drink. It's enough to forgive him for getting me into Warhammer.
I just searched Mystery Quest on Steam, I don't think he's played that...
Not gonna lie, I read the title as gnome guardians. I still read the description blurb kinda so I clicked thinking this was about tiny gnome wars. I’m being honest, not proud, I was disappointed that I was wrong.
Quick, learn how to make games! :P
It took me half the video to register that the letters were ACGT (i.e. the lettered parts of DNA)
Me too.
Damn, this seems like they made a really good weapon system for this game🎉
Tom is a menace to my bank account!

Always appreciate your content 😄
That weapon system is really cool! Waggly Wide Beam was really fun
More of this please it looks great
I'm absolutely in love with this game!
More pls. Looks like totally daft builds to be had.
Looks very fun!
I appreciate indie titles and the ability for small/single devs making games that reach people, but there's something to be said about graphical fidelity going to the wayside... This default, rounded sort of UI and enemy design and the very standard bleeps and bloops are reminiscent of SO many indies of the past couple of years. It all feels like it's coming from the same box of toys, arranged slightly differently. I'd love some uniqueness, some flare and flavour that differentiates these things. As much as I'm a mechanics person when it comes to games, at some point, I need more than these bland shapes in a void with no theme to draw me in.
Hey Tom, can you play ‘Spiderheck’ it’s got a wave survival and you’re basically a spider with guns or lightsabers and you also get upgrades for the spider. Very fun game and I’d love to see your skills 😜
I wouldn't mind some more of these videos 😊
Tom: talks about loving the sound effects. Also Tom: has the audiobalance so far off that the sound effects are almost non-existent.
Looked kinda fun.
Yet another game I've bought before finishing the Angory Tom video about it.
Feels very bubble tanks, I like it!
im so tempted
More more more p|ease!
Love this
Moreeee
very cool angry tim
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1673
This was rally cool, that upgrade system is so interesting and really fun with all the combinations and such you can get, reminds me alot of Weapon Combinations of Survivorlikes, but more involved. Especially love how you can tell what kinds of weapons the enemies are using by their colours. Also, the over heating aspect is a really fun addition, adds that extra level to the game :D
I tell you, the colours and shapes of the enemies remind me heavily of those old toys/kits where you would inject like goo/slime into moulds to make squishy insects, if anyone else remember those?
That Beam to be vibrating XD ha ha
Dice Turrets :O, well if there wasn't a reason to return to this game in the future before, those certainly give a big one
