Psalm 34:19 says..."That many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord comes to the rescue each time....Rescue means that we are already in trouble.....yet the Lord doesn't spare us?
He wants us to grow in holiness by trusting in him when times are hard...that's where he does his transforming work to change us into his son's likeness.Thats his will for his people
He still blesses us in this life for sure....but we don't deserve anything,we are all sinners and all short of his glory.
This is not a guilt trip
Jesus took our judgement to the cross but we must partner with him in this life on the Calvary road.
Life is warfare against old sins....and our flesh with it's never quenching appetites
Since Christ has suffered in His body, we must be ready to suffer also. Suffering puts an end to sin.

I have two businesses. One I just opened. I have lost 3 clients from the first business. My sister works for me and was worried. I told her that God must have take those clients away to make room for something even greater. She didn’t understand why I was so calm. But my faith is what keeps me calm and gives me peace.

My mom was my rock on earth, then God called her home in August. I felt emptiness of course, but remembered that's not how I was taught. I've always been a fighter looking for new beginnings, always giving thanks to God for his blessing and guidance. This word was confirmation for things to come for me and my family.

Pay attention people! Be discerning and search for truth, not a “feel good message”.
Proverbs says the Lord disciplines those He loves. God isn’t here to serve you and make your life great - you were created for His glory. Living in God’s abundance means spiritual abundance, NOT necessarily having job security, a promotion, or a great family.
Just because God stops provision, doesn’t mean He has something you’ll like better coming next. God isn’t here to make you comfy.
