Aye the original is from The Wings, Beatles' Paul McCartney from the late 70s. Our version though is "City Ground, mist rolling in off the Trent, our desire, is always to be here, at the City Ground." Your education is now complete!

Personally as a Forest Supporter I don't like the song and I'm not 'having a go' at the Jocks either. We seem to have made up our own lyrics, so fair enough.
Peterborough United Fan Channel if you want to get technical about it the song is English as it was written by Sir Paul. It was just written about Scotland
@JJ that team doesn't exist, but the original song was a hit at the same time Forest were winning everything in the late 70s. I can't think of one "football anthem" that was created with the game in mind, l have been adopted and adapted.
