Oh darling... I know. I think I will open up and share my reasons in a heart-to-heart episode. It certainly was an emotional decision, and so hard to leave this magical place behind. Not just my house, but this whole valley. It is a beautiful part of the world. And, I think it is important to share real human stories and talk about what's happening in the 'outside world' and what it is 'really' like to be a single female artist with a disability in Australia. It's not all faerie magick and skipping through the flowers. Sending so much love - just discovered your channel and love your creativity and energy xx
I just found the peace I didn’t know I needed as I plan my own flower garden for my huge yard! It is a semi-blank canvas and while exciting, overwhelming with possibilities! Thank you for sharing your fairy magic with me!
Oh yesss! Gosh I absolutely love Hecate, she gives me so much strength. I have to get a big big roll of bubble wrap to transport her safely to my new garden 💗
I absolutely loved this episode, it was so enchanting to be brought along while you design your beautiful garden. You have inspired me deeply to start creating my own as well! If you are ever guided or drawn to creating any kind of witchy inspired gardening how to's (a course or class), I would absolutely love the opportunity to learn from you. Your gardens are stunning, and I think it's so so important to choose each plant with love and care, keeping magick, design, and the local wildlife in mind. I look forward to seeing all that you create, and I can't wait for the release of your new book
Oh wow, what a lovely idea! I have never thought of that... perhaps I am just shy to share my knowledge as I'm mostly self-taught and feel like there's soooo much I'm still learning. I am sitting here in my new garden feeling a little lost... I don't quite know where to start!
@@theramblingrose_ I can completely relate to how you feel. Someone once told me that you don’t have to know it all, you just have to be a couple of steps further down the path. You are so talented, your videos are so beautiful, and you have such a gift with plants and flowers 🌸🌿✨ if you ever feel guided in that direction I have no doubt you would create pure magick 🤗💫
This year I planted my first Austin Rose which I hope will add beauty and fragrance to my garden. I smiled when you said "Roses do not bloom hurriedly", because it's taking a long time for my rose blooms to open 😁 Thanks a lot for another beautiful video
The rose garden turned out truly gorgeous! It will be such a joy for you every year seeing it bloom and flourish and the fairies are no doubt absolutely delighted!
Oh thank you Georgina, yes, I do believe the fae folk are very pleased. Isn't that rose amazing!? It has about 20 little buds on it right now so I'm just thrilled with her, and love that she has this amazing backstory.
Ohhh, glad you enjoyed this one! You should see the Rose Garden now... the white ones are in full bloom and the catmint is waist high! Thank you so much for watching 🤗
That's wonderful, Steph. Do you know which goddess you would like to honour, and what favourite plant spirits you will choose? Do you know much about Hecate? She truly is an epic goddess. I'm so glad that she has blessed me with her wisdom, fierceness, deep love and guidance. I'd love to see photos of what you create too xx
Thanks Laura! I need to start all over in my new garden with this bird bath too... I think I will choose some 'Dark Desire' roses this time to add a pop of rich magenta 🌹 xx
You are such an amazing soul❤. I have a small rose garden that you’ve inspired me to get out there and play in the dirt and expand it. I love your carefree spirit, awesome ideas and positive outlook on this chaotic life we live in. Amazing video!
As a rose assassin, you’ve inspired me to give it another go! We were gifted some beautiful blush and dusty coloured roses for our engagement a few years back, and I had to beg my dad to plant in his garden for me, I couldn’t bear to kill them with kindness. We all picked a bunch on our visit there on Friday, and the scent hits you as soon as you get home 🌹 Another beautiful video!
I find the scent of roses just takes me away to romance land! Urrrgh so beautiful! Yes, give it a go - plant with loving intention and they'll love you back. Don't forget the classical music and the rose quartz xx
Hecate looks so beautiful there amongst the creeping plants and roses. I’m guessing you took her with you to your new cottage where she will adorn once again your cottage garden 💜
Great video, the garden is beautiful and your art work is just lovely, wish I had your talent, I love to paint (water colour) but I’m a long way from where you are, still the idea is just to enjoy and I do that. Thanks for the lovely journey today and I’ll see you next time. 💕
@@theramblingrose_. You haven’t really had the place that long, you’ve done an amazing job especially when you consider at least three months is pretty cold, I love your garden . That rose you spoke about, we had one that I think, was the same in the front yard, changes colours about three times but changes pretty quickly. Probably still there if you have a look.
We live in a suburb of Atlanta Georgia USA. About 28 years ago we had a blue rose that was a climber. She was a stunner. I've never been able to find her again.
What s beautiful video!! And although I study a lot about gardening, it's the first time I see plants watered with a saline solution. And it makes total sense. Thank you so much for the inspiration!! 🧡🧡🧡
Ohhh thank you!! You won’t believe how it looks now - just bursting with blooms! I’ll share some photos over on my Instagram 😃 And it’s a seaweed solution, not saline, sorry love! It must be my accent 🙊🙊🙊
@@theramblingrose_ I'll check your Instagram then. And it's not your accent, but my ADHD...lol...I thought, "Wow, these will be so hydrated"... gosh, that was a gem 🤦🏻♀️

A silly comment, not really related to the video, but,I travel to England, the land of Eng. I go there to mudlark on the sacred river Thames,to find old things. It’s a form of thrifting,I suppose. The Thames River is the greatest Opshop😂! Do you know where I stay when I am there? Greenwich. Always. ☺️
Also,if you do not mind me saying, your artwork,it reminds me of old-fashioned stitchwork. Do you know what I mean? The old-timey “ABC-123,stitched by Margaret Whittings, age 9,February,1809.” Type of thing. Consider that a compliment,as I am mesmerized by a good bit of stitchery.
Roses, they are close to my heart. In my town, there is a famous rose garden, and there are these little plaques, dedications,to people who have passed on. One of them is dedicated to my grandmother,Marie Montalto, she died 3 days before her 100th birthday. She was buried on that 100th birthday.😞
Hi Jennifer! I use Miya Himi gouache, but for almost a decade of my career, I was happy with the dollar store gouache mixed with high quality white ink 🥀 xx
Beautiful garden, very poetic video; however, I do not believe in witchery and believe it is our Almighty Father who created all the beauty in this world. He is the one to thank. No spells or fairies could ever be that strong. So take heed, focus on thanking and glorifying His Name, our Almighty God! Just my opinion but you are so deep in witchery so I don't even know if you get what I'm saying. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Madeline, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I'm thankful every day for the beauty of this world, and I agree with you - almighty and magical indeed! Lots of love from Australia 💖 xx
I’m so interested on the update of where you’re moving to- I can’t imagine leaving this magical place behind without good reason!🦋
