Every new One Piece fans: Before watching: - No there are too many episodes! After watching: - Noo there are not enough episodes! The pain you fell after avoiding watching One Piece cus it was "too long" only to realize that it was not long enough.
One piece has everything from dark humour to light humour to even weird as hell humour it also has some of the most coolest moments in anime/TV Like Zoro is literally a guy who could have been his main protag that just does everything really cool
You shouldn't think of One Piece as a commitment. That makes it sound like work. It's not. It's an experience. One Piece is more like a rollercoaster. You don't have to commit to a rollercoaster do you? of course not. You just have to enjoy the ride. There's no hurry to get to the end. You don't need to worry about catching up. Just go at you own pace. Enjoy the journey. Experience watching Luffy grow from a no name inexperienced Pirate to a world class renowned legendary Pirate, making his mark on the Great Pirate Era. Watch him assemble his crew, go on adventures, save entire countries, grow as a leader and a captain, become famous, watch lose, watch him fail, watch him crumble, watch him give up on his dream and then find the spirit to pursue it again. This isn't just some piece of media you consume and move on from. This is a life changing epic journey that will still with you long after you caught up. So come watch these inspiring characters chase their impossible dreams to the end of the sea with us.
People skip One Piece because it’s too long, but once you started watching there’s no going back. I’ve completed 1070 Episodes to catch Luffy’s Gear 5 in 2 Months!!
Only thing I can recommend for anyone wanting to start One Piece at this stage is to binge read the manga and watch only key scenes from the anime (e.g. a certain funeral) until you catch up. Avoiding spoilers might be near impossible because there are people out there who are willing to become a Patreon just to spoil.
Hope someday you watch One Piece coz I'm pretty sure you won't regret it. It has the best adventure story ever written in anime history. You don't need to hurry catching up to latest episode. It doesn't matter if it'll take you months or years coz for sure it will worth your time.
I am on my third watch through of One Piece, WITH A FULL TIME JOB AND OTHER ADULTING DUTIES TO TAKE CARE OF IN MY OFF TIME. Also, didn't get into the series until about six years ago.
This is somewhat a spoiler, so unless you are sure you aren't going to watch the series, don't read it After watching this, I would love to see you react to the Luffy vs Ussop fight. It's probably the first time I cried watching anime, specially with Luffy's reaction at the end, it's just...heartbreaking.If you watch a compilation of saddest moments in OP it will probably also appear there
And also, i really recommend you video, called "The Breathtaking World Of One Piece" by Strawhat V, which is basically showing dozens of amazing landscapes from one piece world with epic music. th-cam.com/video/AcSVkCNDLZg/w-d-xo.html
At risk of being attacked in mass by rabid fans, what you just watched was to me the worst part of One Piece, the one that stopped me from continuing reading / watching it for many years. Everything is subjective, I know that very well, but to me the constant demented yelling, the pointed teeth and comically enlarged mouths, the "humorous" beatings, the childish humour, and the overall Looney Tunes vibe were exactly the parts that dragged about One Piece. So when I tell you that One Piece is one of my favorite mangas of all time *despite* all that, I want you to grasp the full meaning. I've read all of it up to the current chapter and I've watched every single anime episode or special, OVA, movie, etc. If you want to get an idea of what One Piece is, I suggest a reactor favorite TH-cam video called "The Appeal of One Piece: Where to Start". While the guy completely fails in the "where to start" part, he manages to paint a wonderful and convincing picture of the "appeal" part.
You don’t like the comedic aspect even though one piece is supposed to be like that? But I get it in anime. I like the anime pre ts for comedic aspect. Everything is balance. But when post ts came, one piece vibe become serious, and then when he tried to include comedy aspect of op, it just feel weird now. Gear 5 was that aspect. It just weird
@@Swi2thMummbles Nope. Wrong straight away. Please pay attention. I *NEVER* said I "don't like the comedic aspect". I do like comedy. I don't like *PRE-SCHOOL AGE* comedy. Because I'm not a pre-schooler. And I wasn't one when I first started watching this, either... back when it came out.
