Today is MMA's awards 2023 and no one from BTS present here :( I miss bangtan's performance. For me, MMA 2019 still one of the best's bangtan on awards show, also it's the best MMA's performance ever. Like, BTS really did their amazing for 37 minutes straight, also they took All Daesang
I love how Joonie and Hobi get a seprate individual rapping part and they are only backed up by the rest of BTS, and then Yoongi comes in here with a full on squad of darkness. SAVAGE
Imagine doing all this continuous 6 min confusing choreo with live singing, hitting those notes, and rapping with intense dance. No you can't, you can't even imagine
The MMA 2019 performance will go down in history as one of the greatest performances ever. Even the dance practice is lit af. It's also cool to see this because with the camera stable, you notice more of the intricate movements they are doing that you miss when the award show camera work is so high energy (which is great for that setting, don't get me wrong, it's just cool to see it with a non-moving camera too).
All of them are really good and I'm so proud of Jin and Namjoon for their improvement. But, I'd like to congratulate too the background dancers for this amazing performance.

Each member is very precious, their individual talents are indisputable. But even RM has said many times that the person who attracted the most attention during BTS first stage debut was you Jiminie. You made BTS more well-known. You have always been at an important place for BTS with your dance breaks and appearance in the most important parts of the songs. (No more dreams, we are bulletproof, N.O., fire, blood sweat and tears, not today, black swan...) In later periods, you have always been the most notable member with your unique dances, visual and courage. What I want to tell you is that we didn't love you just because of your beautiful voice. We loved you for your unique dancing talent, which no one else has, which has always enabled you to be at the top of the "best kpop dancers ever" lists. We loved you for your eye-catching stage performances and perfect stage presence. We loved you for your fun personality that fills everywhere you enter with joy, your perfect smile that is out of this world, and your laughter that warms our hearts. i wouldn't say they are professional dancers pro dancers can make choreography can freestyle multiple style even tho i've been dancing for 13 years, i've started dancing at 4 now i'm 17 i can't still call myself pro dancer
Round of applause to Sienna Lalau for choreographing ON and Dionysus, the backup dancers for just being amazing, Hobi for writing this amazing anime opening of a song, Hybe for doing all of this and making BTS in the first place, and BTS for powering through tough times and doing this really hard choreography perfectly. Now that we're at it, I also want to thank ARMYs that supported them since their debut. I've been an ARMY for 5 years and I'm proud of it, especially seeing this.
Can you imagine how much of time this would've taken? To learn the new choreo for the dance break, coordinate with the backup dancers, be in sync with the others. And all for an award show 💜 it's crazy how hard BTS works on each performance, despite always having a busy schedule 💜
When the N.O dance breaks begins and RM says “BTS,” it’s so satisfying that everyone drops away and they’re the only ones left standing. Little details like that 🥰
Dionysus was the first BTS performance I watched. It was from the award show with that mendusa snake like prop. I swear I was so hyped even though I didn't understand what's the song is about. That's how powerful this song is

I’m a dancer and I don’t think I can even count the amount of times I’ve watched this already. I keep pausing and rewinding to watch the different members and then to watch the background dancers and scene movements and everything... I just keep getting mesmerized by little things honestly I need to watch this in slow motion bc I haven’t gone a single time fully through

Liesha Rosales sometimes backup dancers are made to fill up stages or make the perfomance more confusing but they really did good here, bless the choreographer and dancers

Wow, I missed so much behind the lights! Also, Jin's dancing is much better than folks say. He looks good. I'm happy for him and of all the effort he's made to be a better dancer.
He was good from the very beginning the sbs performance dance practice from 2013 shows us that but others members voiced their opinion on who was most likely to make a mistake and it was always Jin or NJ but the thing is they were referring to when they practice never when they perform, then there was that burn the stage vid and fight between Jin and tae and it tarnished Jin's image as a dancer because Tae brought it up in front of the cameras, it was a small mistake but people thought it made him a bad dancer or something, but many of them have made mistakes, they have fallen and so on. The other members didn't mean to portray Jin or NJ in that manner but nevertheless it had consequences, they have now grown up and become more careful with what they express in front of cameras. When you tell someone he is bad, or he is not good enough and you see comments online even when you are dancing great, you get insecure, it's a normal human reaction. Jin was always good both when it comes to dancing and singing, If you look at old vid he's singing is so stable and smooth and he is so well synchronized with the rest while dancing. When I first saw BTS I didn't think to myself oh those 2 can't dance or are worse than the rest I thought all of them were incredible. People were convinced Jin was a bad dancer because they were told he was, not because he actually was. It was never a lack of ability but a lack of opportunity. If you are pushed in to the shadows, you are always in the back, never ever in the center, what would you think of yourself? You would doubt yourself. Even now on twitter everybody is acting like a dance teacher in the comments, saying how everyone can do this if they workout, downplaying his talents, finding excuses as to why he did so well, saying that it wasn't anything out of the ordinary but they always hype up the others members for merely breathing. This was never about Jin's talent it was always about army not treating him fairly. He's a visual and barely gets screen time, he has been praised by the critics and grammy panel for his voice multiple times, his tingling falsetto was the highlight of the last album according to them, silver voice and all and they always think it someone else singing until he proves everybody wrong like in comeback home. Jin was good then and he is better now but they all improved.

The first time he hit one of those full bodied-high notes I blinked in confusion, and then envy because *I* cant hit those notes as well. My envy is high! (Let us not discuss how I feel about Jimin's voice... T.T) In rehearsal though, I made it a point to really watch Jin's moves. He's good He's tight with his motions. Precise. Me likey.
@@mackenzienyte7084 I'm not going to lie the first thing that made me notice him was his looks, but then I heard him sing and it was over, I kept coming back to hear him sing, waited for his lines, I tried to hit those notes as well but I couldn't haha. I really like all of their voices, Jin's songs make me feel better about myself and the world in general but all of them have that effect in different ways. I agree with you about his dancing and I really liked it.

Jin just does one thing wrong when dancing, and that is doubting himself. Maybe it was right of him to do so in the beginning, but these days are long gone.
Jungkook outdid himself. 🤩 It is amazing how he executes such hard choreographies matching every beat, every rhythm so perfectly ! I'm in awe once again, just by watching him grow as an outstanding artist and a beautiful person indeed. I'm a proud army. 💜

Why do I find their talent for dancing and being in sync so sexy. Jungkook and Jhope killed it will the mirror moves, hitting each beat it was so sick. Everyone became a part of dance line for this song. Jimin and Tae captivated me too...Applause for Jin, Namjoon and Yoongi you guys killed it too!!! This song is too sexy! Its mostly perfecting it, i find it easy to get down the skeleton of the choreo and then you can work on it.

Wow, I missed so much behind the lights! Also, Jin's dancing is much better than folks say. He looks good. I'm happy for him and of all the effort he's made to be a better dancer.
He was good from the very beginning the sbs performance dance practice from 2013 shows us that but others members voiced their opinion on who was most likely to make a mistake and it was always Jin or NJ but the thing is they were referring to when they practice never when they perform, then there was that burn the stage vid and fight between Jin and tae and it tarnished Jin's image as a dancer because Tae brought it up in front of the cameras, it was a small mistake but people thought it made him a bad dancer or something, but many of them have made mistakes, they have fallen and so on. The other members didn't mean to portray Jin or NJ in that manner but nevertheless it had consequences, they have now grown up and become more careful with what they express in front of cameras. When you tell someone he is bad, or he is not good enough and you see comments online even when you are dancing great, you get insecure, it's a normal human reaction. Jin was always good both when it comes to dancing and singing, If you look at old vid he's singing is so stable and smooth and he is so well synchronized with the rest while dancing. When I first saw BTS I didn't think to myself oh those 2 can't dance or are worse than the rest I thought all of them were incredible. People were convinced Jin was a bad dancer because they were told he was, not because he actually was. It was never a lack of ability but a lack of opportunity. If you are pushed in to the shadows, you are always in the back, never ever in the center, what would you think of yourself? You would doubt yourself. Even now on twitter everybody is acting like a dance teacher in the comments, saying how everyone can do this if they workout, downplaying his talents, finding excuses as to why he did so well, saying that it wasn't anything out of the ordinary but they always hype up the others members for merely breathing. This was never about Jin's talent it was always about army not treating him fairly. He's a visual and barely gets screen time, he has been praised by the critics and grammy panel for his voice multiple times, his tingling falsetto was the highlight of the last album according to them, silver voice and all and they always think it someone else singing until he proves everybody wrong like in comeback home. Jin was good then and he is better now but they all improved.
@@thaiizful His voice was the FIRST thing I noticed about him. The first time he hit one of those full bodied-high notes I blinked in confusion, and then envy because *I* cant hit those notes as well. My envy is high! (Let us not discuss how I feel about Jimin's voice... T.T)
In rehearsal though, I made it a point to really watch Jin's moves. He's good He's tight with his motions. Precise. Me likey.
@@mackenzienyte7084 I'm not going to lie the first thing that made me notice him was his looks, but then I heard him sing and it was over, I kept coming back to hear him sing, waited for his lines, I tried to hit those notes as well but I couldn't haha. I really like all of their voices, Jin's songs make me feel better about myself and the world in general but all of them have that effect in different ways. I agree with you about his dancing and I really liked it.

Why do I find their talent for dancing and being in sync so sexy. Jungkook and Jhope killed it will the mirror moves, hitting each beat it was so sick.
