This is really cool! I see too that the vertical is unique compared to other clips tools out there, as the speakers can be stacked on top of each other. Not an easy feat in other tools, not to mention speaker view. Although one place that this feature is lacking when compared to others is the lack of timeline and captions! :)
I'm a podcaster and I'd love this feature BUT if I hit save at a certain timestamp say 00:45:30 because someone said something profound. But the statement was made at 00:45:10... will I be able to grab that or does it only save from the moment you hit M? Did that make sense?
Great question. When you hit M, Riverside will mark the clip 30 seconds before you hit the key to make sure that you don't miss a moment. You can also fine tune where the timestamp lands when you use our editor tool!
hey guys, when you are deciding on the specs to publish the video, if you and your guest have different camera capabilities would it be best to just publish in 1080p? or always opt for 4k? it always so hard to know what specs they have and always different depending on the guest. Just curious how to publish the best resolution that will give best result. Thanks heaps =)
The more I learn about this platform the more upset I get that it took me this long to find it lol It's like my entire wishlist of features + ones I didn't know I wanted. Canceled my other plan and am switching to give this a run ASAP.
@@etailor Right?? As if the AI Edit feature and direct post to social wasn't enough... Immediately after I posted that comment I found out about the "Audience" feature too, and how you can pull folks in for Live Call-In's... brilliant.
@@Riversidefm there's an abundance of tools now that automatically add transcribed captions to videos. Integrating with one would be great . Spoke, HappyScribe, descript , etc
Would be nice to actually show "HOW TO USE THE EDITOR" how to cut, delete, split as it's not clear. Yet you show everything else that we don't ask for. I'm finding Riverside has a huge learning curve and not user friendly the way you explain it

Can clips be marked up retroactively? Like while I'm doing post? Or do I have to markup the clip in real time?
