in first 3 weeks of cs2, on my 4k 43inch HDR monitor i could see trough smoke when i or some 1 throws it .. literally smoke was blinking and i could see trough it .....

Well, Faceit recently disabled the NVIDIA game filter due to an issue related with the smokes. It's likely this guy simply found out how to see through the smokes with the game filter, which would explain why the anti-cheat never flagged him. Is kind of odd that this is on CS:GO, whilst they disabled the filter after cs2 came out. Perhaps the issue hasn't changed.

mate from what I remember while playing with the graphics and rendering is CS, if you use console commands pre-game you can lower your graphics soo much you have only the outline of certain objects including smoke. For some reasons, characters, map and props(smoke for some reason) have different commands and variables for rendering.

I think he can somehow see through the edges of the smoke. Notice how he doesn't ever shoot anyone that's in the middle of the smoke, he only shoots people who are closer to the edge of the smokes from his view angle.
At least in CS2 there is the possibility to change your Nvidia graphics settings, making you able to see through smokes. Don’t know if it worked in CSGO tho.
Also I hate to break it to everyone in here but its actually really easy to bypass a kernel anti cheat. You arent safe on faceit no matter how much you want to belive you are. You arent going to fight blatant cheaters, its always going to be subtle people who are preforming way better than their skills actually show.
faceit should honestly automatically ban anyone with a game ban no matter what game it is, because if you cheat in one game you are probably gonna do it in another. With this action faceit will rise to god hood and have such a higher standard
5:17 and 5:33 looks a lot like walling though. I don't even know if he would be able to see the person he traced through the wall from that angle in the first clip. Would be a good idea to turn on sv_cheats 1 and mat_wireframe 1 to see what he's able to see. If he's tracing someone through a wall he can't see it's obvious wallhack.
He definitely wasn't wallhacking. That one instance was a bit sus but nothing else in the video indicates wallhacks. There was an exploit in CSGO that prevented smokes and mollies from rendering which is probably what he is abusing here, especially considering he seems to be completely unaware of mollies near him. Would also explain why he double smokes sometimes, he isn't aware there's already a smoke there.

Apparently there are settings with nvidia cards that when set correctly it didnt make smokes opaque they drew a dark outline if a player was inside of them. Could explain a lot of the cheats but i dont know how extreme or well known this was because it was "published" after cs2 release.

Back before the removed allowing some random commands in mm, dima made a video, and there was a command that disabled smokes entirely. Their couldve been something like that in csgo, not really sure. But it is technically very plausible he found something or saw someone doing it, learned it, and then started doing it himself
Isn't there a see through smoke settings in some faceit cheats? I know almost all (if not all?) premium cheats for valve servers have setting so you can see through the smoke only or does he have some weird color setting for his gpu that makes it look like a smoke wallhack ;D
my fried had a visual glitch in csgo were the sky box turns red in warm up anb smokes are glitched but it happens randomly he had to restart his gane when it happend de fixed by changing something in his settings
It can't be a smoke bug or exploit. He was trying to shoot someone behind a wall through a smoke. He sees his outline through the wall, that is literally just wallhack unless he is somehow glitching the walls too.
One bit of evidence you missed was his steam name. DIY is abbreviated for "Do it yourself," and ty is abbreviated for "thank you." So he definitely learned a smoke abuse based on that and all the other evidence in the video.

Before I updated my drivers on my amd laptop smokes would be pitch black and it was quite easy to see enemy outlines when they hid in smoke .😂
