The only thing I liked about these comics was the idea of having a visitor working with the Nightmarens. I like how they made Roger a major character and gave him personality.
Also just in case you don't know, Mr. Weiss' real name is Emmanuel. This is said in the green square at 13:39

Nights being brought into the human world and trying to live like humans while also being a fish out of water reminds me of a certain blue hedgehog....

The first one had pretty nice art, I'll check it out. As others have said, it had interesting plot ideas not explored in the game but still would actually make sense within the universe. Dunno what's up with that second portion though, visually or in story.

The second series had TERRIBLE art! I can count so many errors, not just in general character design, but perspective, coloring, and shading, and proportions as well. The worst of which is how they keep coloring Reala's eyes lime green when they're supposed to be icy blue.

I honestly really enjoyed the comics and story, but the quality did deteriorate in the second set of issues. so many colouring mistakes, inconsistencies and the art getting worse took away from the experience. but it did have a cool story, I enjoyed the roles of Roger and Reala especially, and them working together

The comics were very disappoiting, indeed! We barely got to see any dream world (only Spring Valley and Twin Seeds), the characters were as generic as possible, Elliot fighting Gillwing and Jackle, Claris fighting Puffy, a terrorist plot no one asked for and of course the ugly drawings, eww. The idea of Roger working with the Nightmarens was cool, but it was barely explored. A NiGHTS into Dreams comic adaptation had so much potential. It bugs me that this is what we got.
