UPDATE. For automatic car with push button start. Press start button for accessories position. Immediately after press both pedals. Keep pedals down for upto 30 seconds until reset is complete. Then press ok. Done. Do not hold pedals before start button as engine will start and rev up.
I’ve a. 09 2lt diesel and put oil in as this come. Up put oil and still come up just watched ur. Video and went out and did and ohhh my god. Wow. Thank u. So helpful for. Me as no nothing bout. That side of cars lol
This does not work on Mondeo sold in Australia. It seems to be same, except speedo not in MPH. Kept foot on both pedals for 30 seconds, but display does not change at all. And oil service warning returns next time you start engine.

Noice... I don't have a start button and its automatic, but same approach, press both pedals, but the key ignition into ON state and basically just like the video above 🙂

Cheers, will try this as I’ve been struggling with the engine starting and going to max revs 8)
Useful! One thing that even main dealers forget to do, even if it is lit when you take it in.

Works on a 2013 diesel too. Even with older computer display

Will this process work for powershift gearbox cars?
Yes mate
@@bodgitandleggitgarage thanks mate
No it dose not work. Mine starts and then revs up to max rpm if pedals not released.
You guys know the procedure for the auto?
You prob already done it but put door on acceleration pedal. Push start button then foot on break
Foot not door
Not that I'm ever likely to have to do this but where's the OK button?
Hi mate it's on the steering wheel on the right hand side
