The street fighter (or any fighting game equivalent) of the complicated ult tracking eskay is describing in overwatch is the read log. If you play fighting games long enough, you can remember the opponent's last 5 choices in a given defensive situation to predict what they will do on the 6th while executing a technically difficult combo. Hell, the longer the combo, the more time I have to go over the sequence of reads in my head so I can be up on the conditioning war compared to my opponent.

A Trash Talk with people outside of the fgc would be very interesting if you run out of or can't get certain people Brian!
I really appreciate you keeping in that conversation with Eskay instead of just focusing on the gameplay and cutting it out like a lot of other people would. It was really interesting to hear and I hope you make more videos in this style!
I loved this video! It started as a funny video about Brian trying to learn a completely different game that he's used to, then it simply turned a video of Brian being Eskay's dad while she talks about her life. Amazing stuff!
I was not expecting this to turn into "personal discussion about the philospohy of experiencing life and the state of the world" but I feel like a better person for having listened to it. Also Eskay seems to only be like one year odler than me based on this if my conversion to british school schedules is correct which is a bit terrifying to think about my brain still parses any internet person I don't personally speak to regularly as significantly older than me in part to block out parasocial relationships
That covid talk really was how it went. I unfortunately had it happen during my senior year of high school, so it kinda carried over to the first years of college and really just kinda lost the most important 4ish years of people's lives. It was crazy
i relish/regret to inform you that high school and college are not the Prime Time of Your Life and some magic golden years where you peak and everything's downhill. the good thing about iron fist is that you don’t need to aim and that he’s good against new players, which probably makes him like the best possible character that brian could have chosen if he doesn’t plan on playing this game in the future
