I never understood why 30 people decide to chase 1 person. Seems kinda pointless.
If it's red it's dead... But yeah usually the good zergs ignore solo roamers and go for objectives and fight with other zergs. The only time solo roamers deserve it is when you try to pick off the fat kids in the tail of the zerg

The bm doesn't really bother me anymore. I actually find it funny most of the time. I used to be really toxic and jump on and siege almost everyone I killed a few years ago, so I can't really say anything about other people doing it now. I just try to be the bigger person and if they bm me first, I try not to do anything back if I do get them. It just creates a cycle of toxicity and this game is supposed to be played for fun. Plus if I get sieged or tbagged i can record it and use it in my videos 😆

YOu like less survivability and more damage, go something else. You want more survivability and semi OK damage, go cele. Simple choice people make.
If you ask me, pure damage specs that go for instant gratification kills are not to be praised compared sustainability builds like cele.

I can't judge people for wanting to play cele when Anet has left it in the game. People like to win and want to play strong builds. However with that said i disagree with you about cele being balanced. On certain professions it is way to strong right now. I think you shouldn't be tanky and be able to do good damage at the same time. That goes for power builds too. For example defense spellbreaker has way to much sustain right now for the damage it can do. The defense line adds damage modifiers when it should be a line purely for survivability. You should have to give up damage to get sustain or vice versa, but now you just get everything. There's almost no reason to run strength over defense because you don't lose much dmg and you get a lot more sustain.
This game is at its best when the fights have reactive gameplay. The person ur fighting uses a skill, and you react to it either by dodging/blocking/blinding with whatever you have. You do something, they react, they do something, you react to it. If you mess up and waste all ur skills and don't dodge the right skills, you should be dead. The game in its current state is just way to spammy. All classes have way to much of everything and you can get away with spamming all of ur skills with no consequences. They even keep adding more and more stab into the game which lowers how often you can punish people for wasting their skills. Defense spellbreaker, any cata build, and soulbeasts have near permanent stability at times. (i don't like being cc spammed either but perma stab should not be a thing)
I do agree with you about one shot builds being very easy to play. I'd even say they are some of the easiest builds to play in the game. Builds that one shot you with a single ability, like gun flame on berserker, backstab on thief, or the rapid fire one trick pony soulbeasts who go full dmg traits and basically have no counter-play. However with that said, i think if you eat someone's entire burst combo without using any mitigation you should be dead. I fight some cele builds on my spellbreaker and knock them down for 8 seconds straight and I'm bursting them the entire time and they get up 50% health and then immediately heal back to full. There's no satisfaction in landing ur bursts. You outplay someone and they aren't punished for it. Again, I'm fine with something being that tanky, but it shouldn't be doing good damage too.
I want to use 2 examples of me fighting people on cele builds. The first fight, I was fighting a cele renegade on my spellbreaker and it took me 2 minutes to do enough dmg to down him. This guy was wasd turning, barely moving, and basically just auto attacking. Before the 2nd fight in this example, I stopped playing the game for a few weeks and came back to it and i was debating if i even wanted to play WvW or not. I was in armistice bastion and this virtuoso walked up to me and looked like he wanted to duel. I was playing dragon hunter, and he had power food on, so i thought he was power and decided to duel him. It turned out he was running a cele build, and he was wasd turning, back peddling (I don't think he could move and use his skills at the same time), walking through my test of faith trap several times without me knocking him through it, and he would eat my entire burst combos with no mitigation. After 10 minutes of fighting him, i was so bored, i just walked off and logged.
I know that I'm not the best player in the game, but if you watch my gameplay you should be able to see that I'm not a bad player. For players who wasd turn to live that long against me with no reactive gameplay and just eating all my bursts removes all of the fun from the game. I think cele needs to be tuned down by either getting rid of the boon duration and expertise in WvW, or lowering all of the stats in WvW. Cele is not the only problem though, its also the boon duration and boom spam on all builds. No class should be able to get 25 stacks of might on its own.
If you win a fight, it should be because you are playing it well and dodging/ using mitigation properly and setting up and not wasting ur bursts. You shouldn't win the fight just because ur running a certain type of gear. Its good to have variety in builds, and i do think its good for new players to have easier builds to play, but with that said there should be a limit to how easy some builds are.
i share the exact same view on cele as you do. while cele is a huge problem, certain skills/traits on certain specs are what also exacerbate the issues of high boon uptime, boon coverage, and sustain. "Save Yourselves" shout on guard is a good example of way too much boon coverage with the boons already at a high base duration that only get even higher when you start adding cele pieces in. no skill in the game should spam that much boons in one single button press.
not only does cele as a stat need to be reworked in wvw, but also certain traits/skills that cele enables also need to be nerfed or reworked to create a healthier balance in small scale.
I'm torn on going warrior or guardian im playing a eng atm. Pvp is a thing I do but not much
Guard and warrior are basically my main 2 professions, so I couldn't help you choose between the two because I like them both equally. They both have positives and negatives about them. Sometimes when I'm playing spell breaker I get tired of trying to chase things down and on guard it's not fun losing just because ur out sustained. Its fun locking people down on warrior and fun using the teleports on guardian. Pick the class that looks more fun to you, or just play both 😀

i can do it for a little but then my camera will move with my about face instead of staying in the same direction.
I do it without thinking about it now, but I think you hold down either the left or right mouse button while you about-face and it doesn't turn ur camera around. Also just practice it constantly when ur running around. I kept practicing it in PvE when I was doing map completion until I got more used to it before trying to do it while fighting people

I can take 2v1s and sometimes even 3v1s with this build but I often die trying to solo PVE at camps. I think I'm just bad while my Rev can easily clear tower lords solo
I die to the tier 2 and tier 3 camps sometimes on war too. The blind spam from the scouts is really annoying and makes you miss a lot of ur hard hitting skills. It used to be easier taking camps when everyone ran berserkers stance for the resistance. Also usually when I'm taking a tower I try to use los as much as possible since the tower lords mostly have projectiles

did you watch my spellbreaker duels and 1 v1s i posted a few days ago? I fight a few different specs in that video. Also i'm busy for the next 2 weeks starting tomorrow so i wont have time to do anything and I plan on making holo videos next.

Man everytime I see your videos I want to just take my spellbreaker and roam solo. Problem is I am totally new to GW2(130h) and also to WvW.
Would you even recommend some1 like me to try and solo roam?(i find this the best way to have fun in wvw.)
I also find solo roaming to be the most fun. I say just go for it. The only way to get better is to play. My advice to you would be to make sure you have the right build and gear setup. You don't want a pve build on with no stun breaks and mixed/matched random stats/runes on ur gear. If ur going with a power build, I'd suggest going mostly marauder gear so you have more health.
If you don't have keybinds setup, I would do that too. Read what all of ur skills/traits do so you can get the most out of them. A few examples would be how bulls charge is a 3 second kd, but it's also an evade during the animation, so if you can time it right you can evade an attack and then go for the kd. Or just use it for mobility/the evade while running away. Breeching strike (the dagger f1) does DMG, removes boons, and is unlockable. So knowing that you could save it for when someone blocks to go through the block, or wait to use it until the guy ur fighting gives himself stability and try to remove the stab and try too cc after.
You could also try the PVP game mode. It's supposed to match you with people around ur own skill level, but it doesn't have a big population of players who play it, so it doesn't always work. In wvw u could always be out numbered no matter where you go, but at least in pvp it's a 5v5 and playing it could help u learn the basics better before getting into wvw.
Watch vids of people playing the class ur learning and try to see what exactly they are doing. Hopefully this helps

I plan on playing holo next. I'm busy the next 2 weeks though so i won't have any time to roam. Itd probably be like another month before I get enough clips i could use for any videos. I also just want to make another holo vid because my first one flashes/blinks like every second because i had the wrong setting clicked. If you didn't notice it before, you will now.
