Collins Rake

This rake is one of a kind. It is designed to be cost efficient and time saving; and it has three very unique features. It has an adjustable break for the front wheels, it attaches to the front end of the tractor so it can be used in conjunction with the bailer, and it takes an eighteen foot swath. The adjustable break prevents shimming of the rake, so it allows easy on and off the road transfers when working in more than one field. Being able to rake and roll at the same time makes it much more efficient. It saves money with fuel, time, and the cost of manpower. I'm glad you took time to watch this clip. I was so proud of my dad who in his eighties was able to accomplish getting the rake completed as well as receiving his patent that I hardly paid attention to the background music. Now you have got my curiosity up, I'm trying to get in touch with the person who made this clip to see what the name of this song is. I'll be sure to let you know when I find out! My dad will have a demonstration, and pamphlets for his rake which will provide much more detailed information that I would know how to share. It will be held at the machine show at the Louisville fairground. starting on February 12, 2014. Everyone is invited. Come out and see it.
