She is incredible...I can't believe she just received the much deserved recognition after Ted Lasso....and I was so surprised that GoTs just offered her such a minor role...
She has a small role on Sex Education currently, and is also fairly famous for Lady of the Lake in Spamalot

One of my favourite things is when I discover an actor/actress is an unexpectedly brilliant singer. I love Hannah’s character Rebecca in Ted Lasso, and like so many others just had to find more footage of Hannah singing after the Karaoke then Christmas episodes. What a talented woman she is 💙

Oh my!!! Where were they hiding Hannah before Ted Lasso??? Her range is a-maz-ing, clarity impeccable! Her interpretation of this song moved me to tears.
They were hiding her in London, where she was (and is) a MASSIVE theatre star on par with the greatest Broadway stars. She's been well-known in the UK for a long time. ;)

2023 what a year for her she was the face of baileys ,m&s royal variety show was outstanding, Eurovision brilliant.

Hannah is a West End musical theater veteran and has also done Broadway (Spamalot). There's isn't anything that she can't sing brilliantly.
Saw her singing in Ted Lasso and immediately had to look for more from someone who moved me to tears... Amazing...
I heard an interview with her speaking about coming from a family of opera singers - and wow - is that ever on display with this performance. I'm in love with how still she is and then starts to raise her hands just as the song crescendos. Dayum.
Never saw her until Ted Lasso and after hearing Memories I’m in love with her. At 92 it obvious is not easy to find a new girlfriend, but, I’ve done it.

Isn´t this interesting. Prior to eurovision song contest I didn´t have Hanna Waddingham in my life and like so many of you have written here before I cannot get enough of her. I mean, I am searching all the interviews, songs, appearances, even watch her do her skin care regimen... This woman has such a good aura around her, she is smart, kind, funny and oh boy what a charisma! I want a friend like her. She is stunning! So happy tonight is the grand final of eurovision song contest which she is co-hosting with Graham Norton! This evening will be epic.

We never watched Ted Lasso, I don’t know why. I saw a a review of the Christmas special,watched it not knowing anything about her & was completely blown away by her, immediately started watching Ted Lasso & just love the show, it’s so amazing.

Hannah is a new discovery for me. After watching Ted Lasso I had to see if she had performed in any musicals etc. and I was hoping she had tons of content. Not so much out here but surely with this new level of exposure that will change. She's marvelous and enchanting, what a lovely package of talent she is. Ted Lasso was a complete surprise and it's easy to understand why it gets so much positive press. I recommend Ted to everyone, it's pure sunshine.

If you want to watch a real showcase for her singing, watch the Regent's Park "Into the Woods" that was filmed. It's available to stream. She played the Witch in that.

SHE’S INCREDIBLE I CAN’T -
The sound of that last note. It's so beautiful and different to how other (brilliant) singers have sung it. Clear as a bell and there's something pure about it. The whole performance of this song is from the soul. Not easy to hear & love a song that's so well known it feels like its already been heard too many times - yet I love this. What a gift her presence is. Extraordinary 💛

In my 33 years, I've heard quite a few great voices but this woman just makes me weep uncontrollably, struggling to keep my mouth shut so I don't sob aloud and wake my wife and kid.

Who is here because they knew Hannah as a Musical Theatre performer before Ted Lasso? :) Watched her sing Our Kind of Love from The Beautiful Game, about 15 years ago.... Fell in love with it, so glad she's now got the recognition she deserves but I'll always see her as a musical theatre performer first :) ❤️
I saw her on stage in The Beautiful Game. They released that song as a single. I bought the single. I also bought the cast album.
Here's the thing: On the single she didn't go by Hannah Waddingham. She went by "Hannah". So when I saw her on Ted Lasso, I didn't make the connection.
Great singing voice and her character in Ted Lasso is just awesome.
I had never heard of her until I saw her singing "God Save the King" at the British GP. She has a great voice.

Before Ted Lasso she was in Game of Thrones and I think a lot of people recognized her from that. I know my wife and I remembered her but her previous work was a lot of stage performances and unless you live in New York City and saw her on Broadway in Spamalot or you live in London, you just won't know her.
This is the gorgeous Hannah I know. A Musical lovely who sets a high level and a gal who loves comedy, drama and fun. We need more lovely singers like this. Top notch performer...

There are better versions than both of theirs.
I am a huge HW fan but even though this is an excellent rendition of the song I think Elaine Page’s was better. A lot to do with the acoustics though.
