Does the weight have to be 750gm? And when i watch international competition those competitors gis look under regulation quite a bit. When you get measured for competition how do the referees know they haven't changed their gi before they compete. Does this happen? Boxers get their wraps signed before they fight - do judokas get their gi signed? If not they should sign their back patch.
You don't state the different materials single weave, double weave, gold weave, pearl weave where do we stand on those ? Also the pants? Does it matter how high up you wear them around the waist and how much space should you have around the butt if any?
Local tournaments might be hard to switch between different colored judogis while easy to switch between different colored belts. White judogis are allowed on either side at local tournaments I've been to but blue judogis are only allowed on blue side. That's why white judogis are more than just traditional, they are more practical. I'm told i should have a white judogi for kata and not a blue one. White and blue are the only colors allowed in IJF rules. Only white judogis are allowed at the Kodokan.
The rules have been changing a lot the past few years. As of 2018 the longest a skirt can go is 15cm above the knee. The shortest the skirt can go is bottom of the butt.
I was totally expecting height and weight ratios and/or standard to metric sizing. like if your a 32 waist then the pants width is XX cm or something like that. You need to rename the title of this video. "How to make sure your gi is in regulation" "Lets see if this particular gi is in regulation"
The most frustrating thing about martial arts gear is in the sizing especially if you're a big strong guy because they're all made for slender Asian frames. I'm 6ft tall 300lb with a 50" waist and only a couple products fit me but none of them wrap properly except ones I had to tailor down in height. All they do is up size the entire product... they don't make it for bigger stronger people so if I get a gi that fits me I have to tailor it down from the seven-foot-tall cut they deliver to your door because the ridiculous manufacturers just assume the same frame at the same standard dimensions rather than keeping it of average height/length and just making it bigger to accommodate a larger more powerful individual. When I was 350lbs I only had two gis that would fit and they were hard to find and exorbitantly expensive for what they were...Fuji 10 and MACS 12 (these were the largest commercial Gis available but of course they were cut for people who were 10 ft tall so they are comically long!

Is there is a way to unshrink a judo gi? Mine is 60% cotton and 40% polyester
You know they’re serious when they have a special injection moulded tool. That thing would be good on one of those guess what it is quiz shows

If i'm doing 1,79 height , and 78 weight and i wan to buy the same Mizuno as this one which size i need to buy ?
What about the colour? I see some guys with blue Gi.....do clubs allow you to pick which ever colour you want or are you expected to wear white?
most beginners are expected to wear white, some tournaments will require you to have a blue alternate one, but everyone needs a white one.

just watching Grand-Prix Budapest 2018. Almost all judo gis way too short & nobody cares.
I know this is an old comment but theres ways to get it past the check easily.

@I Rojnica Japanese custom gi probably costs 300$
@I Rojnica Whats that gonna cost me? Probably cheaper to get a size 10 and tailor it down for height from the 11 ft tall person it was meant to fit😒
this fit that passes the requirements looks ridiculous. Not cool.
