Oline looked pretty rough at the start, was it all ARod skill or did they stiffen? I saw Moses getting tossed around a lot at the beginning and Tippman got blown up as well. Still only game 2 and lightyears better than the last 5 years, but interesting what a review shows.
@@HappyEddyMcGuire and he's just getting warmed up. I have been a fan of the jets for 40 years I have already seen throws from Aaron that I have never seen from a jets QB.
That last play was my favorite and you analyzed it perfectly. The icing on the cake was when Rodgers alerted to flip the play and sneakily used his hand to point to which direction to run. Absolute GENERAL on the line of scrimmage. Good drive and good win.
Another great film breakdown Luke. It's an amazing feeling knowing we have a HOF QB. We may not win every game but I know ARod will put us in the best situation to go for the win on a weekly basis.
Regarding the Breece Hall TD; Aaron said at the post game press conference that before that play , Breece told him “if they put a backer on me hit me with a go ball” and Aaron said , “okay” 😀.
mannn i gotta say. I know the skill players get most of the credit but watching the o line on these plays makes me want to cry lmao. we havent had a solid reliable group of guys like this since brick and mangold were holding it down!
Watch Rodger's hand behind his back just before the snap on that Braelon Allen TD. He pointed to the left to tell the RB to run opposite to the creeping safety.
My man luke from Down under. That's deceiving though, because he's really on top. People are still trying to say thatAaron rodgers looks like dennis quaid from any given sunday. F-them.
Breece Hall came inward on the receiver to sort of hook him with his shoulder and take away the defenders position on that TD catch. = Smart Coaching and execution by the players to create space for the reception. =Jets Passing and Receiving is very high level.
Breece actually came to Rodgers in the huddle before the touchdown catch and told him "If a backer is lined up on me, give me a go route" so we actually gotta credit that decision to Breece. The execution was still absolutely amazing though
Yeah in heard the interview talking about the 2 minute warning but I think Rodgers is being a leader. I’d say there’s a 90% chance he went to Breece if the 2 min warning didn’t hit
Yeah I heard that too. I also think if the play happens before the 2 minute warning, he 99% throws that ball to Breece anyway. Hes being a good teammate with that comment
Honestly, I think a lot of that is people getting use to playing with Rodgers. It’s essential the first 10 seconds of the 40 play clock are efficient. Get in and out of the huddle, so Rodgers can make his late adjustments. I think that will improve by the Broncos game
Only imagine if the Jest had a semi-competent OC. Then Aaron wouldn’t have to worry about being the QB and the OC. And we’d have less delay of game penalties.
@@PoppaSquat-et3qp hopefully the delay of games are about speeding up the huddle/playcall process and will sort themselves out. Most players are used to playing with a QB who makes that many late clock adjustments. So the start of the 40 seconds becomes crucial
The one good thing that gets overlooked about the rookie braelon allen is hes been on both sides of the ball so he knoes exactly how to read a defense and shoot the gap and he also knows where he needs to be at the right time and the right angle to take against the defense
Refreshing to see this offense is driven by a professional QB! Suddenly giving up 3 draft picks doesn't seem to bother me no more. Now that the offense is still finding its identity, but once they figure it out, wow!
Idk. I’m not so sure Aaron is “making it easy” for his team. It looks like he’s putting the ball in a nice spot sure, but his receivers are being forced to make incredibly tough and amazing plays. Breece Hall having to out jump a defender as a RB and make a diving incredible catch in the end zone. Garrett Wilson having to read Aaron’s mind and change his route to adjust to his throw. Mike Williams having to go up and Moss a defender who’s draped all over him. If Aaron is such a genius it shouldn’t have to be this hard, relying on unbelievably low-odd plays that they were able to pull out their ass
You think it was "low-odd" for a freak physical specimen (Mike Williams), a route-running master (Garret Wilson), and a top running back at his position to make those plays? Jesus, this is the NFL, not pee wee league.
@@jordanmartinek5069 dude he’s throwing it to them with a defender blanketed all over them. No separation at all and hoping they win the 50/50 ball. And they did, so it worked for now, but I think those plays successes were much more a testament to the receiver’s incredible plays in relation to Rodgers’ throws/decision making
@@PlayLikeAJet Hackett came out flat. But whatever changes were made in the 2nd Quarter helped. That first touchdown was a really nice playcall. Need to see more Hall and Allen backfield plays.
Hackett did nothing you credit him for because he gave Rodgers options. Wouldn't he be out of the league if not for Rodgers? Okay, I'll let Aaron decide. Smart move. I could be offensive coordinator with Rodgers at quarterback.
That’s not what happened on this play. He also created a really nice pony package which ended in a touchdown for Allen. I don’t like Hackett but his second half was quite good and two things can be true
Love Aaron I just hope this O Line can protect him, Aaron has definitely lost a significant amount of mobility, he’s going to have to play purely from pocket like Brady these last few seasons of his career.
It’s much much more complicated than that. The issues at the end of the clock are usually happening because of procedural issues in the first 10-15 seconds. Getting in and out of the huddle. Rodgers will always run it down but a lot of players aren’t use to the efficiency needed at the beginning

LOS manipulation is the #1 attribute of a QB and Aaron is one of the best ever at it. What a privilege we have has Jets fans to watch a master work.
