Lovely... my grandmother has one in her entryway. My great-grandmother was gifted it-I believe as a wedding present in the early 1940s. Nothing in the drawers is touched. It is all as it was when my great-grandmother last used it in the 1980s. There are items from the previous owner inside the drawers as well.
My grandmother told me the model was a few decades old when my great-grandmother was gifted it-so probably it is around the turn of the 19th century as well. It doesn't sew but is in excellent condition otherwise. Even the paint on the machine is in excellent condition for something over 100 years old.
    Thanks for this video!

I have one just like it, it even has the original belt.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen one work.
Thank you so much for this video.
    I appreciate it ❤

This reminds me of my grandma's sewing machine.

I have this machine from 1892. It has the best stitch of any machine I’ve ever used. And, the sound this machine makes when it sews is so soothing. It is my favorite to sew on.

Omg agreed! I have several antique singers and my favorite is from the same year 1892! It’s a fiddle base machine and I LOVE it

Beautiful cabinet...I've heard it called the "Memphis" style ..I have one from 1900. I have the same model of machine you have Model 27 from 1904...It has Tiffany Decals...I think you have the "Pheasant Decals" on yours? You machine sounds so smooth!! Like your machine, mine makes good stitches and winds the bobbin perfectly. I learned something from your video...that is to keep the thread at the BOTTOM of the bobbin when I put it into the bobbin case! That makes it so easy then to pull the thread under the tension spring. You did an awesome job of restoring!!! Beautiful decals! Oh you're selling it....Hope it finds a loving home that will take care of it like you have!

What a gorgeous sewing machine. Compared to today’s it’s a work of art. The sweeping curves and the gold painting on it are just amazing! It would almost make me hate going back to my machine!

In my opinion, the model 27 is the most aesthetically pleasing singer machine of all!

We had the same table forever minus the actual sewing machine. We used it as a beautiful side table, but it would have been cool to have the machine!

Beautiful- and how soothing is the sound of this machine at work
(btw- I feel the same sadness when I find a wound bobbin in an old machine- seems projects left undone.)

right? It's like when you come across and abandoned house and theres still everything left inside.

What country this sewing machine was made in?

Boooo pretending it’s 1910 while filming a video for the internet. You are antiquing wrong. Just get a modern machine and call it 🤷🏾‍♀️

The people who have an old machine from 1910, really appreciate this video.
      I know I do.
I have the exact same machine and I’ve never seen one working.
      I found it very fascinating.

@shaun2346 I believe they are friends and she's teasing him... SewRena was promoting this video on her TH-cam channel.

She made that comment. She asked for a comment to be made to push his channel (I believe is what she said, or something to that effect) . It would be pretty silly to try and get people to believe it’s 1910 when he’s talking into the camera.
